Autopsy of Randy Savage completed

The autopsy of wrestling legend Randy “Macho Man” Savage did not yield an exact cause of death … sources tell TMZ.

Sources tell us the autopsy was completed yesterday and the cause of
death is still “pending.” We’re told the ME noticed did not notice any
“extensive trauma” to his body.

According to our sources, it might take anywhere from 4-6 weeks for toxicology results to be completed.

As TMZ first reported, Savage (real name Randy Poffo) died in a car accident on Friday when his car veered across a concrete median, through oncoming traffic, and “collided head-on with a tree.”

Macho Man’s brother told us he suffered a heart attack, which caused him to lose control of the vehicle.

  1. I could go to a hospital and get a toxicology report on myself in less than a week. This 4-6 week BS is fabricated by the ME or by the news or by someone, but it’s fabricated. It’s complete BS.

  2. Common Sense says:

    I’m surprised the autopsy report was made available so fast, usually they say it takes weeks, so they don’t shoot themselves in the foot with a wrong diagnostic.

  3. I hate to be rude, but why does anyone care about this? I have respect for what Randy Savage did in the ring but as far as everyone making a big deal out of it, why? Like any wrestling fans life was “shattered” because Randy Poffo isn’t with us anymore. The show goes on, and only thing left for wrestlers tragically is a plaque on a wall somewhere and jokes about his botches.

    Manuel Garcia, you are a rude, insensitive jerk.

    Hey Lindsey its not same toxicology test as u get in when ur alive looking for more then they do when ur alive its alot different. So it not fabricated like u seem to think do ur research.

  6. Francisco says:

    Seems to me that Mr.Manuel should have left his comments to himself because they weren’t needed here. We all respect macho man and what he did for the industry of Wrestling but he was also a man a human being and I was devastated when I heard the news about Randy. You just seem like somebody who has no Respect for anyone because if u did those comments would have never been written period. He may have been larger then life in his persona when he wrestled but Randy Savage was still Randy Poffo the man he was a human life he was a Husband a brother and a Son you should never make light over someone dying people these days no wonder the world is going to hell.

    @Manuel Garcia
    I was never a big fan of Savage, but as a wrestling fan and a person, I gotta say you’re out of line. It is BS to read that you have respect for Savage; like @Francisco said, if you really did, you wouldn’t have made any comment, regardless of how you feel. It’s simple: respect for the deceased, for the family of the deceased, for the fans who are devastated. There ARE fans who are devastated and whose lives are “shattered”; you are stupid to think that there aren’t. Virtually every member of his family are/were fans, are they not? His friends? I’m sure they were/are fans of Savage. Keep your comments to yourself, especially if you have nothing nice to say.
