TNA SACRIFICE: Karen Jarrett’s status for the PPV tonight is revealed

May 15, 2011 - by Adam Martin

Jeff and Karen Jarrett are coming out. Jeff is helping Karen who is on crutches with her ankle in a boot. Jeff said he has a special announcement he needs to make. He said some times you have dangers as a mother at home. The crowd starts a loud “BULLSH*T” chant. Jeff said the PPV viewing audience doesn’t want to hear their filthy language. He said Karen “slipped and fell” on an action figure, was rushed to the hospital, she got an MRI along with x-rays and they were informed that Karen has a “grade three sprain and her ankle is broken in two places.” Jeff said they are just as disappointed as the fans are. He informs everyone we will not have a match tonight against Kurt Angle and Chyna as a result. Mick Foley’s music hits. Jeff claps for Foley as he gets inside the ring. He thanks Mick for coming out to re-book a better match. Foley said he has seen the x-ray and it is indeed not good. He said the funny thing about an x-ray is that it reveals the sex of an individual. Foley said Karen is no 6’6 African American male and something tells him she will be magically ready to go tonight. He said they are standing in a wrestling ring and wrestling matches take place inside here adding, “because wrestling matters.” Karen complains she has nothing to wear. Foley said he thought she might say that and he had someone named Joleen make her a special outfit for tonight. He said when Karen steps into the ring tonight with Chyna he has good news and bad news. The bad news – you are going to get your “butt kicked all over the Impact Wrestling Zone.” The good news – Karen will look so good while it is being done. Karen screams in disgust. Foley tells them to have a nice day.

Backstage, Jeremy Borash is with Brian Kendrick. He said the X Division and X Division Championship was originally designed to be a platform for wrestling that no one else has ever seen. Kendrick said the “good ole boys” redesigned it as a filler match and he is here tonight to correct that language to put the X Division back on its proper path.

* Robbie E vs. Brian Kendrick is up next.
