Brock Lesnar: “I’m not retiring”

More notes from the conference call:

– Brock Lesnar: “This is why I’m so frustrated right now because I’ve been doing the right things. I feel very angry about it.”

– Lesnar doesn’t know how long he will be out IF he has the surgery … “It’s not as serious as last time, it just didn’t allow me to train like I needed to train for a No. 1 contender’s bout.”

– Lesnar: “I’ve been dealing with symptoms the past 3 months. The only way to treat the symptoms is to get on antibiotics.”

– “This is an unfortunate situation for me. I dodged a bullet two years ago not having the surgery.”

– “I’m not retiring… I believe there’s a solution to every problem, I just gotta find the right solution… I love this sport, Lesnar said. “I wouldn’t have been 100 percent on June 11. I had to make a decision this week.”

Damn hope he gets well and stays well after this round, stomach illnesses really mess up training.

Good, I’m not a fan of Lesnar in UFC ever since his little stunt of dissing the fans after the fight, but as someone who has fought in the MMA style and had injuries from it, you never want to see anyone get hurt and when they do you only hope for the best.

  3. Jack Windham says:

Hopefully, he has a full recovery. I still believe that Lesnar can become a hall of fame MMA fighter.
