 - Bam Bam Bigelow defeats Brian Knobbs in a Hardcore Match to become ‘King of Hardcore’

 - Rick Steiner defeats Booker T to win the WCW Television Title

 - Scott Steiner defeats Buff Bagwell to retain the WCW United States Title

 - Roddy Piper defeats Ric Flair by DQ to gain control of WCW. Piper’s first act as boss was to fire Flair

 - Sting fought Goldberg to a no-contest after Bret Hart attacked the referee

 - Kevin Nash defeats Diamond Dallas Page to win the WCW World Title
