Report by: Adam Martin of Wrestleview.com

A video package runs highlighting Wrestlemania 27, but how tonight extreme will rule. The video package ends adding, “Nothing is too sadistic…nothing is too malicious…tonight, nothing is too extreme.”

A graphic opening hits welcoming us to WWE Extreme Rules. We go live to Tampa, Florida where a huge display of pyro goes off. Josh Mathews is the first to welcome us to the live Pay Per View tonight.

Randy Orton is out first to kick off the show.

Josh Mathews, Jerry “The King” Lawler and Booker T are currently on commentary at ringside.

Last Man Standing Match
Randy Orton vs. CM Punk w/ The Nexus

As Punk walks down the ramp with The Nexus, the Raw GM chimes in. “And I quote, Randy Orton and CM Punk must resolve their issues tonight. To ensure that happens, all members of the new Nexus are banned from ringside.”

* CM Punk vs. Randy Orton is up next in a Last Man Standing match.
