“Night of Champions” PPV name dropped by WWE

WWE’s Night of Champions PPV is scheduled to undergo a name change as the event has already been dropped from WWE’s calendar reports PWInsider.com. It remains to be seen if the theme of every WWE championship being defended at the event will change remains to be seen. The event remains scheduled for September 18 in Buffalo, New York.

    Yea, it’s called WrestleMania. If there’s a night where every title should be defended, it should be WrestleMania.

    unforgiven it is. I think it would be cool if they did a retro night similar to what they have done with raw before. Have the old school locker room interviews before matches and after any title change. Make it feel like a unique one time event. I’m probably asking for too much.
