Update on Ric Flair

Apr 24, 2011 - by Steve Gerweck

Reports of Ric Flair undergoing surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff are false according to WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross. On his Twitter, Ross wrote that Flair didn’t go under the knife yet and had just received a text message from him to check on his “wrestling status.” Flair suffered the injury at the end of January while wrestling Douglas Williams during the TNA live event in London, England. The Nature Boy was somewhat written off TV
during the Lockdown main event after he tapped out to Robert Roode during the Lethal Lockdown match. TNA commentator Taz also said on his Twitter that him and Mike Tenay were either given bad information or the status of
Flair’s shoulder changed from Tuesday’s television tapings to this weekend. “@JRsBBQ U been there MANY times. BAD info, taped show…w/quick turn around
time. Some folks dont “get it,”” wrote Taz.
