More on the early buyrate for Elimination Chamber

To follow up on a report from last week stating that early estimates for WWE’s Elimination Chamber PPV on February 20, 2011 drew 200,000 buys, The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting the preliminary figures as 191,000 buys worldwide with 131,000 buys being domestic. Last year’s show drew 287,000 buys worldwide with 160,000 buys being domestic. 2009 numbers were 272,000 worldwide buys with 174,000 domestic.

  1. Go back to No Way Out and have Hell In A Cell back to No Mercy then maybe have Elimination Chamber and HIAC matches at them shows but not the same every year or just have them randomly around the year

    Ouch. These themed PPVs really don’t seem to be doing anything for business. They would be better served just going back to the old format.
