Update on The Rock after Wrestlemania

The Rock is looking forward to continuing his relationship with WWE past WrestleMania according to an interview the people’s champion did with Entertainment Weekly. “I’m looking to do something big and special with Vince after WrestleMania,” The Rock said, calling his return on RAW as “f’ing incredible.” When explaining the way he left, Rock said that he didn’t want a farewell or a big exodus, but he just wanted the opportunity to thank the people who he needed to thank and walked away. “I wanted to 100 percent commit myself to acting and making movies of different genres. I always knew I’d come back. I just didn’t know in what capacity. Nor did I know when.” He described the night he returned to RAW last month as the greatest moment he’s ever experienced on the show. “The goosebumps never left my body during that monologue.” The former WWE champion added that he’s going to be involved with movies and wrestling at the same time and when he was asked about his promise of never leaving again and if he will have a recurring role after WrestleMania, he says it’s still all up in the air. “It depends on what makes sense to the audience. You always think audience first,” he said. And as far as what his hosting gig at WrestleMania involves? “What you can expect is getting me at my best, microphone in hand, entertaining the audience, taking the 75,000 people on a great ride for four hours, interacting backstage and in the crowd. And on top of all that is the fact that I can take my boot and stick it straight up someone’s ass. And when I’m done with that, I will slap the lips clean off their face.”
