A couple of notes on Jon Jones’ victory at UFC 128

- At UFC 128 tonight, Jon Jones out-landed Shogun Rua 87-13, according to Compustrike.

Speaking of UFC 128, comments made via Twitter:

* Dan Henderson: Congrats to jones. He looked great and shogun looked out of shape or something. Weird fight with a great finish.

* The Rock: Congrats to John Bones Jones – new (and youngest) UFC light heavyweight champ of the world. Team Bring It

* Bret Hart: Great showing by Jones. He’s going to be a champion for a long time. Good choice for entrance music as well.

* Jim Ross: Jon ‘Bones’ Jones had a nite 4 the ages. Complete domination. Never a doubt which honestly surprised me. Rua outclassed on this night. Wow!

This should setup a rematch and big Money fight for the only person to beat Bones Jones. Matt the Hammer Hamill.

Can matt the hammer beat Jon Bonez again or will Jon prove that Bones are stronger and better than Hammers

yes ofcourse I am making a few jokes here but a Bull Crap loss is still a loss and what better way to hype the hammer movie than a fight for the title and also a way for Bonez to avenge the only loss of his career

In my opinion this would be a sell out in almost any arena

  3. Sean says:

Shogun is one of my favorite fighters of all time, so I was pulling for him, but I really didn’t expect him to beat Jones. Jones is absolutely amazing, and he’s only 23. It’s almost scary to think of what he’ll be like a few years down the road when he really hits his peak.

  4. What music did he come out to?

I wouldn’t be able to tell them apart. Somebody would win.
