IWA held their January 15 event at the Avoli Arena, also known as the Volleyball Arena, at Levittown, Toa Baja.. PRW reader El Xer reported the action of the night, reporting 100 fans attending the show.

Show started at 10:00 PM. Apparently the truck carrying the ring had mechanical problems and a another ring was brought there. So in the meantime, several wrestlers were signing autographs. They were Hiram Tua, Shockwave, Atomo, Sonico, Chris Angel, Escobar & Bryan. Nobody wanted Tua autographs so Tua left back to the dressing rooms.

1-Atomo defeated Jamal (of The Academy) with a neckbreaker.

2-Shockwave defeated Enigma.

3-Jay-Cobs (leader of the Academy) defeated Julian Jamrock.

4-Philips (of the Academy) defeated Sonico after a angle slam and an ankle lock, doing Kurt Angle moves and mannerism.

5-Noel Rodriguez defeated Damian. During the match the music of Apolo was played and Damian distracted and then Noel applied a RKO. Fans asked for another RKO and he did an extra one. After the match, after Damian entered the dressing room, Noel went after him, bring him back to the ring and applied him another RKO.

6- Xix Xavant defeated Hiram Tua when Tua was about to do the shooting star Noel Rodriguez came in and made Tua to lost his balance. RhenXavant did the F5 and won that way.

7-Escobar defeated Dennis to retain the IWA Title. Referee was knocked and landed outside the ring. Then Chris Angel appeared and applied Dennis the spear. Bryan came and throw the referee back to the ring and Escobar pinned Dennis to win the match. Bryan then took the microphone and said that Ray Fenix will be signing a deal that will change the wrestling scene forever.

Notes:

Fans chanted Jamal MVP, due to his wrestling gear, and also chanted Chevy to him. Chevy was a comic actor, real name Melwin Cedeño, that used a handkerchief as Jamal did.

Alexis Suarez, who do the TV show, also worked as ring announcer and also worked on the mounting the ring.

On TV was announced that Savio Vega will be doing an important message, He didn’t.

Rey Fenix wasn’t there. Not sure if he was advertised.

Fans chanted Kofi Kingston to Julian Jamrock.
