Bret Hart comments on a memorable 2010

WWE halll of famer Bret “Hit Man” Hart wrote on his Facebook that his return to Madison Square Garden with his whole family being there including granddaughter and his wife was one of the highlights of 2010 for him. “I thank everyone in New York who came, especially WWE, for this night in particular,” the former champion wrote. He also said he had a blast returning to WWE and listed his moments with Shawn Michaels and Vince McMahon on television as well as his WrestleMania return among his favorites. “To have had the thrill of being in the ring cutting promos with Stone Cold, Undertaker, Shawn, and even Vince again was a dream come true as much for myself as it was for my fans around the world.” Bret also hinted that “anything is possible” and when he sees The Miz today, the new WWE champion, he remembers that he beat him already for the U.S. title last year and he could come back and take the WWE Heavyweight title away from him. “Ahh, that’s the beauty of pro wrestling. Never stop dreaming; anything is possible.”

I’ve always had respect for Bret Hart. But the way he came back and was actually willing to bury the hatchet, my respect for him was increased by like a 1000. Bret Hart is one of those guys who lived up to his nickname: The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be.

Finally bought his book yesterday. Look forward to reading it. Glad he kept a audio journal.

Since his stroke that’s probably the only thing he remembers.

We want a last run for Bret, like a feud with another hall of famer, or someone he can fight decently.
