Q: When did you become a wrestling fan and how?
CJ: When I was a baby I remember watching WCW Hulk Hogan vs. Ric Flair. Then it was the Action figures!
Q: Where did you grow up?
CJ: I grew up in a small suburb of Boston known as Randolph.
Q: Who were your favorites growing up?
CJ: When I was younger it was Hulk Hogan, as I grew up I was big on Shawn Michaels and DX. Nowadays I’m a big fan of A.J. Styles, Christopher Daniels, as well as local guys like Eddie Edwards, John Walters, Tommaso Ciampa, and Rick Fuller.
Q: Did you attend wrestling shows when you were a kid?
CJ: Of course! WWF and WCW. As well as Local Independents like Killer Kowalski’s shows and Richard Byrnes’ USWF.
Q: What is your favorite wrestling match?
CJ: My favorite wrestling match to date has to be a tie between Taker vs. Michaels at WrestleMania 25 or Michaels vs. Flair at WrestleMania 24.
Q: What is your favorite event?
CJ: My favorite event I went to has to be my first ever ROH show in 2004. It was there 2nd year Anniversary and the main event was A.J. Styles vs. C.M. Punk.
Q: First impressions of the business when you were training?
A: Training was tough. I started at the age of 13. Made a lot of mistakes, and looking back still very young to the business, I can tell that I’ve evolved and still have a lot to learn.
Q: How has life been on the Independent Scene?
A: I’m very happy with the people around me. Everyone is down to earth and extremely cool. Some places better than others. But my two main homes are BCW (Baystate Championship Wrestling and NCW (Northeast Championship Wrestling) because both are just like a big family.
Q: Who are some of the notable names you have worked with?
CJ: Since I really started Reffing I’ve had the privilege to work with Former WWE Star Antonio Thomas, NWA North American Champion The Sheik, Dangerous Danny Davis from the WWF, and Danny Miles who is touring in Japan with ZERO1.
Q: Do you believe Kayfabe is dead?
CJ: It’s only dead to the people that want it to be.
Q: Any TV/Media appearances:
CJ:None really. Though you can see me on NCW’s Showcase online T.V. Also on NWA Liberty States’ “Respect” DVD and BCW’s Somerville Debut DVD.
Q: What are your future plans?
CJ: I hope to work a lot more show in 2011. I’ve been in talks with a few promotions both up north in Boston and down south in the New Bedford area.
Q: When and where was the last show you worked on?
CJ: I reffed on a UFO Show on Nov. 24th. I reffed Chris Camaro vs. Tyree O’Neil, Camaro won with a 450 Splash, the Second Annual Turkey Bowl where Beau Douglas won after eliminating Steve Beck, and Brian Milonas vs, Tony Delfonzo which ended in a Double Count Out.
