Pro Wrestling Since 1997

Freddie Prinze Jr. back in WWE is reporting that actor Freddie Prinze Jr., has returned
working for World Wrestling Entertainment as one of the producers backstage.
He originally worked for the company from July 2008 till February 2009 as
one of the creative writers for the Smackdown brand and then left and got a
gig as one of the leading men on the eighth series of “24.” Prinze Jr., is a
huge WWE fan – quite the difference from other Hollywood writers who were
employed by the company and who never followed wrestling before – and he was
among the favorites in the locker room during his first stint with the
company. He was front row at WrestleMania this year and also guest hosted
RAW a few months ago where he was on the receiving end of an RKO thanks to
Randy Orton.

Freddy might be a huge fan like me however, he only seems interested in working for the WWE when his acting career (which has very little talent) is in limbo. Why the WWE thinks they need him, I guess will never know. Freddy had a hard time making himself look good on my favorite show of all time 24.

He’s likeable, and if they’re giving a supposed die hard fan some “power” or creative input then it could be good. I would imagine this is more for publicity than anything, though. And if he was well liked in the locker-room then that is a good thing but who is to say because he’s a famous actor, the locker-room wasn’t just ‘ticking it.

"She’s All That"…such a smart movie! he’ll do fine for the wwe again. he wasn’t a distraction last go round, it wasn’t for publicity i dont’ believe. he was there about a year and people didn’t really noticed til he was gone and hosted raw. wwe needs something, maybe this is a re-start…bring back the attitude era vince!

  4. Chris Lappin says:

He’s the new RAW GM! Ha!
