More on WWE’s debut in China

WWE performed in China yesterday for the first time ever at the Expo 2010
Shanghai event with a 90 minute show held inside the Shanghai World Expo
Park that was seen by a sold out crowd of 8,000 fans. Tickets – which were
free – were taken within an hour after being available at the box office.
Five matches were held during the event which saw The Miz defeating Mark
Henry, Eve Torres defeating Alicia Fox, Rey Mysterio defeating Chris
Jericho, Sheamus defeating Randy Orton and John Cena defeating The Big Show.
“This is a historic night for the WWE, thank you all for being here
tonight,” John Cena told the fans following the show.
