Update on Skip Sheffield

As previously noted, Nexus member Skip Sheffield did suffer an injury at the WWE house show in Honolulu, Hawaii. Sheffield suffered a broken ankle in two places, front and back, and also broke his leg. Sheffield ruptured a ligament up his left calf from the impact of the break. The injuries occurred on a dropkick, as Sheffield’s left foot got stuck in the mat. Despite the injury, Sheffield did finish his comeback. The estimated recovery time is six months.

that just blows, he was the enforcer of the Nexus, now they are gonna have to add new members into Nexus to fill the void by Sheffield, Darren Young and Daniel Bryan (who was fired in real life when the Nexus first formed, only to be rehired by the WWE, not to mention he was kayfabe kicked out of Nexus to write out of that angle by “Having Remorse”.

anyway i hope Skip has a speedy recovery.

  5. John Howard says:

They should have brought him up as Ryan Reeves and not that name—-so i’m praying that after six months when the nexus thing is done they will bring him back as the silverback again——we had him here in a local promotion when WWE owned HWA and he was a lot of fun to watch

  6. Ed says:

I would not be surprised if Skip is the next to get kicked out of Nexus. However, they could write it in & have him get injured back stage some how.

  7. Stephen Carpenter says:

Funny how all these really over muscled guys get injured so easily. Oddly enough that is a side effect of steroids. Triple H anyone??
