~ UFC bantamweight veteran Will Campuzano improved to 8-2 on Friday with a split decision victory over Steve Garcia in Austin, Texas. The bout was part of the King of Kombat promotion for their latest presentation titled, Resurrection. Campuzano won a “Fight of the Night” award earlier this year fighting for the WEC at WEC 46.

~ Lightweights Paul Sass (10-0 MMA, 0-0 UFC) and Mark Holst (8-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC) have been slotted into the preliminary card of the UFC 120 U.K. event, which takes place Oct. 16 at The O2 in London. Sass, who hails from Liverpool, England, is one of four British fighters who make their octagon debuts at the card. Undefeated in 10 appearances, he holds a record for seven consecutive victories by way of triangle choke. Only two of his opponents have made it out of the first round with him.

~ Todd Duffee (6-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) and Jon Madsen (6-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC) have been signed to fight in a heavyweight tussle on the undercard of UFC 121: Lesnar vs. Velasquez on October 23.
