PWS strips champion due to injury

Pro Wrestling Syndicate has just received word that PWS Heavyweight Champion Kevin Matthews will be undergoing surgery on his bicep and will be out of action until further notice. That being said, since Matthews legit waited until the very last minute to inform PWS of this, he has been stripped of his Title and it remains to be seen if Kevin Matthews will ever wrestle in PWS again.

PWS has decided to revamp its entire lineup for the upcoming Sunday August 22 Connecticut Carnage event in Fairfield CT as we will have a new PWS Heavyweight Champion crowned.

PWS is bringing back the most unique tournament in professional wrestling; its very own creation The Majestic Twelve Title Tournament.

Twelve men, three rounds, one winner.

Each of the dozen competitors are randomly paired off into Tag Teams based on the luck of the draw. This means it can be friends teaming with friends, friends teaming with enemies, even tag team partners forced to go against each other. Any combination is possible.

In Round One, it will be three tag team matches featuring 12 of the best independent wrestlers in the country. Winning teams advance to Round Two.

In Round Two, winning tag team partners will face off against each other in Singles Matches.

and In Round Three it will be a No Holds Barred Falls Count Anywhere Triple Threat Elimination Match with the winnner being crowned the first ever PWS Champion.

And now lets run down the dozen men that will be competing for The PWS Title this Sunday:

1) Adam Cole
2) Amazing Red
3) Bandido Jr
4) “Picture Perfect” Bruce Maxwell
5) “The Assassin” Dan Maff
6) “The Cold Hearted Playa” Danny Demanto
7) “Notorious” Devon Moore
8) Joel Maximo
9) Necro Butcher
10) “Mr Standing 450” Rich Swann
11) “The New Horror” Sami Callihan
12) TJ Cannon

As a result of Danny Demanto whom has been with PWS longer than anyone entering The Majestic Twelve , there will now be a Four Way Elimination Match for The PWS Tri-State Championship between Deadpool, Wes Draven of The PWS Tag Team Champion Urban Legends, “Big Juicy” Justin Corino, and Sabre Cat.

Also PWS will be hosting the very first ever Six Man Singapore Cane Staple Gun Match. Thats right it will be three on three as it will be Team NY consisting of “The Samoan Mastadon” Fala, Timmy Aiight, and Joey Ayyo taking on Team New England consisting of Kenny Doane and Da Hoodz (Kris Pyro and Davey Cash). The catch to the match: singapore canes and staple guns will be legal.

Also at CT Carnage will be Former WWE Intercontinental Champion The Road Dogg, the hardcore icon Nick FN Gage, TNA Knock Out Velvet Sky, and much more.

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the door on SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY August 22 at The Fairfield Knights Of Columbus Hall on 333 Unquowa Road in Fairfield Connecticut, right off exit 21 on I-95. The air conditioned building is also just one block from The Metro North Train Station so getting there from NYC is really simple.
