Nexus member suffers a possible broken ankle

Talk about bad timing.

It is believed that Nexus member Skip Sheffield suffered a broken left ankle at the Raw house show in Honolulu, reports the Wrestling Observer, and obviously will be out of action for some time.

good get those jobbers all out of there exept barret

  2. Theo says:

Skip is the next batista. But this injury is bad timing. Maybe husky harris will take his place and alex riley will take darren young place.

  3. Captain A says:

Wishing harm on someone, it’s not really a nice or necessary thing to do. If you don’t like Skip, so be it, but don’t wish injuries on people.

I want Husky Harris to the nexus

It’s pretty crappy to hear about this happening to young talent like this. I first saw Skip (Ryan Reeves) on the 1000000$ Tough Enough and thought he was doing pretty good considering the injuries he suffered. On the flipside, let’s hope this sends a message to WWE to speed up the Nexus angle a bit. Remember NWO 2000 anyone? They draged that storyline out until most of the members got injured and the angle just simply fell apart. If WWE keeps on WCW’ing this storyline, then it will be like a never ending car trip where the kids are saying, “Are we there yet?”. The WWE has a great pool of young talent with almost no clue what to do with them. If they keep this up, can you wonder what will occur when the participants from seasons 2 and 3 get added to the mix?

i dont think its a smart idea for all of the other nxt participants to be added to the mix certain people just dont have what it takes like eli cottinwood and lucky cannon. @ Mikey

This looks to me like more fodder for an evolution in this storyline. They could set it up as one of Team WWE having secretly taken out one of the NXT members on a long-term basis
