It is obvious now that Smackdown is definately WWE’s B show. The Raw roster is stacked with talent and Smackdown has no more than Mysterio, ‘Taker, Kane, Show, and Punk.

I think moving Smackdown is a big mistake because Smackdown has a lot of good wrestlers – Hardy, Drew, Ziggler, Punk to name a few. I question how much of their low rating has to do with poor viewership versus day of the week. Not many people I know go out partying on a Monday night but if 18-34 year old men make up a big portion of the viewing audience, they aren’t going to stay home on a Friday night. They are out enjoying the start of the weekend.

    Pre-NXT: Raw – A, SD – B, ECW – C.
    Now: Raw – A+B show, SD – C show.

I think this move is more about the money Syfy is paying WWE to move smackdown to syfy. It’s something like 30 million. It’s a business deal. And Raw is the live show most weeks and should be considered the A show. Smackdown belongs on a better network than mytv.
