Linda McMahon in primary vote Tuesday

Linda McMahon will battle with Rob Simmons and Peter Schiff tomorrow as the Connecticut Republican Senate primary takes place in less than twenty four hours. McMahon won the party’s endorsement a few months ago and is leading the poll easily according to results released today. Quinnipiac University’s latest poll shows McMahon with 50%, Simmons at 28% and Schiff at 15% and McMahon increased her lead by three points over the last poll held last week. As of the end of June, Linda McMahon spent a whopping $18 million on her campaign and is ready to shed up to $50 million in order to win the Senate election come November. So far her main opponent in the Democratic party, Richard Blumenthal, leads McMahon by 10 percentage points.
