When asked if he has been contacted to work Hardcore Justice or if he would like to Jones said…

“Well, first of all I’d be a fool to say no. I would love to appear there. But no, I have not been contacted in any official manner. I have inquired though. I’ve tried to go to the favor bank, but it doesn’t look likes it’s going to work out but it’s cool. I mean it doesn’t make me less friends with people, but absolutely I would love to appear on it because…who wouldn’t? Like I said, who wouldn’t want to put the band back together one more night? Who wouldn’t want to go out there with your friends, go out there with your family?”

When asked about the possibility of Paul Heyman coming into TNA to take control of creative Jones said…

“I think it would be awesome. I think it could do wonders for TNA. I think if Paul has strictly creative control he will take TNA and make it household known just like he did with ECW beginning back in 1993. 1119 we were on PPV without national television. We used this little unknown thing called the internet, tape trading, and newsletters. I think now with the mediums that are out there I think TNA could be very successful with Paul Heyman in control.”

When asked final thoughts on Hardcore Justice and what to expect Jones said…

“I think that for one night you will be able to turn back the clocks, and you will be able to imagine yourself sitting in South Philadelphia watching your favorite rock band sing all your favorite songs one more time. There will also probably be a good surprise or two. I think ECW Hardcore Justice will make people very happy. I think it will be one of TNA’s most successful PPVs. I’m not going to lie, I’m going to buy it. I’m not going to be there so I’m going to buy it. I think it’s going to be great. As I said it’s going to be like your favorite band out there for one more night.”
