– WWE promo plays.

– A video package plays focusing on the Road to WrestleMania and the Elimination Chamber. Tonight could be someone’s final chance to headline WrestleMania.

– A graphic opening hits welcoming us to Elimination Chamber. We go live to the Scottrade Center in St. Louis where a series of pyro goes off in the entrance area.

– The Elimination Chamber begins to lower around the ring and we will kick things off tonight first with the WWE Championship match.

WWE Championship – Elimination Chamber
– Sheamus (c) vs. John Cena vs. Triple H vs. Randy Orton vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Ted DiBiase

Order of entry was: John Cena, Ted DiBiase, Randy Orton, Triple H, Kofi Kingston and champion Sheamus. Kingston and Sheamus started the match. Kingston kept looking back referencing what happened last year when Edge attacked him and entered the match. Sheamus walked up to the four pods getting in the face of everyone showing off the WWE Championship. Every five minutes a WWE star will be released from a pod randomly.

The bell rings and we start with Sheamus and Kingston. Kingston starts lighting up Sheamus with some big body kicks. Kingston with a big crossbody on Sheamus and follows with a dropkick. Kingston with more kicks to the chest of Sheamus. Sheamus with a few uppercuts to Kingston backing him into the corner. Kingston with a high knee to Sheamus, but Sheamus recovers quickly and drops Kingston with a clothesline. Sheamus attempts a hip toss to Kingston over the top rope onto the steel, but Kingston lands on his feet and hits a springboard kick to the head. Kingston catches Sheamus with boots in the corner. Sheamus counters a sunset flip attempt dropping down on Kingston’s chest and hitting a few right hands. Kingston and Sheamus brawl to the steel floor surrounding the ring and Sheamus pushes Kingston into Triple H’s pod. The action spills back intot he ring and Sheamus connects with a huge backbreaker. Cover and Kingston gets a shoulder up after two.

Time expires and out first is Triple H. Triple H smiles and exits his pod. Triple H gets in Sheamus’ face. Triple H with right hands and Sheamus recovers with a high knee to the gut. Triple H returns with a high knee of his own and then drops a knee over the head of Sheamus. Triple H goes to work on Sheamus in the corner. The two attempt to throw each other into the chain surrounding the ring, but both counter. Triple H instead clotheslines Sheamus back into the ring. Sheamus gets Triple H up on his shoulders, but Triple H powers off and hits a DDT. Kingston finally recovers and takes out sheamus with a big crossbody resulting in a two count. Kingston then leves Triple H and Sheamus with shots. Kingston sends Triple H into Sheamus in the corner. Kingston jumps up on the top rope hitting some right hands. Kingston then hits the ropes and hits a big clothesline on Sheamus. Kingston then connects with his Boom Drop over Triple H leaping over the top rope over the steel floor.

Time expires and out second is Randy Orton. Orton exits his pod right away and goes after Sheamus. Orton with a clothesline on Triple H and then sends Kingston to the corner. Orton with stomps to Sheamus and another big right hand to Triple H. Orton drops a knee over Sheamus and then tosses him to the steel floor. Orton starts sending Sheamus and Triple H into the chain fencing. Orton then starts choking Sheamus with his boot. Kingston then takes out Orton, Sheamus and Triple H with a huge crossbody. Kingston attempts a springboard crossbody back into the ring, but Orton catches him in mid air with a big dropkick. Triple H with a knee to the face on Orton. Orton responds with a snap powerslam. Orton starts stalking Triple H on the mat. Orton with an RKO attempt, Triple H counters, Orton dodges a Trouble in Paradise attempt, Triple H attempts a Pedigree on Orton and Orton tosses him to the steel. Orton does the same to Kingston. Sheamus then grabs Orton and sends him into the steel turnbuckle.

Time expires and out third is Ted DiBiase. DiBiase goes after Triple H with some right hands. DiBiase drops a few fists on Triple H and then looks back at Orton who is recovering in the corner. DiBiase extends his hand and Orton takes it as DiBiase lifts him up. Orton and DiBiase double team Triple H with kicks in the corner. Orton then tosses Sheamus into the corner. DiBiase then applies a Boston Crab on Kingston and Orton gets in a few kicks to the gut as well. In the ring, Orton is exchanging shots with Triple H when DiBiase runs up and takes out Triple H as they continue the double teaming. Orton and DiBiase slam Triple H back first into the side of the chain fencing. Orton then gives Triple H a DDT through the ropes to the steel floor surrounding the ring. Orton and DiBiase then start standing and getting in Cena’s face at his pod.

Time expires and out last is John Cena. Cena exits and goes after Orton and DiBiase. Cena levels Orton with clotheslines and his twisting powerbomb. Cena hits the five knuckle shuffle on Orton and then drops DiBiase when he tries to interfere. Cena attempts Attitude Adjustment on DiBiase. Cena sends DiBiase’s boots into Orton, but DiBiase holds onto the ropes. Cena then tosses DiBiase to the steel floor. Orton then dumps Cena to the steel floor, but Cena comes back sending Orton into the steel fencing. Cena then rolls back in the ring and locks on an STF on DiBiase. Orton breaks it up and hits a neckbreaker on Cena. Orton starts pumping himself up when Cody Rhodes runs down with a steel pipe in hand. Rhodes tosses it inside. DiBiase has it and accidentally hits Orton with it when he was up on Cena’s shoulders. DiBiase then hits Cena in the gut with the steel pipe. DiBiase stands up, looks at both men down, covers Orton and gets the pinfall.

Randy Orton is eliminated.

Kingston with Trouble in Paradise on DiBiase. Kingston covers DiBiase and gets the pinfall.

Ted DiBiase is eliminated.

Sheamus then levels Kingston with a big boot and then connects with his crucifix powerbomb. Sheamus covers Kingston and gets the pinfall.

Kofi Kingston is eliminated.

Cena attempts an Attitude Adjustment on Sheamus, but Sheamus counters. Sheamus hits a big backbreaker on Cena and then tosses Cena into the corner hitting a few shots. Sheamus props Cena up on the top turnbuckle, tries to set him up for a crucifix powerbomb, but Triple H breaks it up. Triple H with a Pedigree on Sheamus. Triple H covers Sheamus and gets the pinfall. The WWE Champion has been pinned and is eliminated.

Sheamus is eliminated.

We are now down to Triple H and John Cena. Cena jumps on Triple H and locks on the STF. Cena pulls back hard and Triple H is starting to fade. Cena continues to pull back even harder and Triple H taps out.

Winner & NEW WWE Champion: John Cena

After the match, the Elimination Chamber starts to rise back up above the ring. Vince McMahon’s music hits and he walks out congratulating Cena. McMahon said Cena is heading to WrestleMania as the new WWE Champion…only if he can successfully defend his title right now next against Batista.

WWE Championship
John Cena (c) vs. Batista

In the ring, Cena is struggling to get to his feet and he rocks Batista with a quick right hand. Batista then charges and levels Cena with a huge Spear. Batista with a Batista Bomb on Cena. Batista covers Cena and gets the pinfall.

Winner & NEW WWE Champion: Batista

After the match, Batista is handed the WWE Championship and raises it above a beat up John Cena.

– A video package airs highlighting the events on Raw last week involving Bret Hart getting hit by a car as he was heading to his limo.

WWE Intercontinental Championship
Drew McIntyre (c) vs. Kane

The bell rings and Kane goes right after McIntyre with some right hands. Kane with a quick dropkick to the face on the mat and then locks in a side headlock on McIntyre. Another side headlock takedown by Kane. Kane with a swinging neckbreaker on McIntyre, cover and McIntye gets a shoulder up. McIntyre with shots to Kane in the corner. McIntyre attempts a standing clothesline on Kane, but Kane stays up. McIntyre with a few shots to the left knee of Kane. McIntyre drops the arm of Kane off the top rope, slides back in and gets in a few right hands and body shots. McIntyre with double dropping knees to the arm of Kane. McIntyre goes back to work on Kane’s arm. Kane shows his power shoving McIntyre over the top rope. McIntyre had a bad landing and they showed a replay. Back in the ring, McIntyre drops his body over the left arm of Kane and then applies another submission driving his knee into the head of Kane. Kane counters an underhook DDT attempt and levels McIntyre with a big boot. Kane catches McIntyre with a big uppercut after McIntyre leaped off the top rope. Kane with a big side slam on McIntyre. Kane with a jumping clothesline off the top rope. McIntyre counters a chokeslam attempt rolling to the ring apron. Kane then grabs McIntyre, throws him into the steel ring post and then connects with a big boot that sends McIntyre flying off the ring apron to the ground below. Kane continues to beat down McIntyre and tosses him back in the ring. Kane continues the attack when McIntyre bails out. Kane follows and McIntyre gets in a cheap shot. Kane gets back in it tossing McIntyre in the ring. Kane attempts a chokeslam again, but McIntyre gets in a thumb to the eye and hits his double underhook DDT. McIntyre covers and gets the pinfall.

Winner & still WWE Intercontinental Champion: Drew McIntyre

– Backstage, Gail Kim is seen heading to the arena when Maryse catches up with her. Maryse says a few comments in French and says they are sexier than the Smackdown Divas. Kim tells Maryse to cut the crap as she can speak French too and knows she has been trash talking her for weeks now.

WWE Divas Championship – Finals of the Tournament
Maryse vs. Gail Kim

Before the bell rings, “EXCUSE ME!” Vickie Guerrero walks out and said she is aware of the bad comments towards the Smackdown Divas from the Raw Divas. As a result, she is postponing the title match tonight and making a tag team match with the top two Divas on Smackdown – Michelle McCool and Layla.

Maryse & Gail Kim vs. Michelle McCool & Layla

We start with Gail Kim and Layla. Layla with a quick takedown and kicks to Kim. Kim with a rollup on Layla that results in a two count. Kim charges at Layla in the corner. The referee then gets distracted when Michelle McCool walks up and kicks Kim off the ropes. McCool and Layla hit a double baseball slide to Kim. Maryse makes no attempt to help out Kim. McCool then goes to work on Kim hitting a few knees to the back. Kim fights back with a jumping clothesline. Maryse teases she wants a tag when she pie faces Kim allowing McCool to hit a big boot. McCool then hits the Styles Clash on Kim and gets the pinfall. Zero crowd reaction in St. Louis.

Winners: Michelle McCool & Layla

After the match, Maryse got in Kim’s face and talked some trash.

– Backstage, MVP informs The Miz that he will be defending the WWE United States Championship against him later tonight.

– William Regal’s music hits and he heads to the ring. Michael Cole mentions that Regal is in negotiations to come to Raw now that ECW is done and that Regal will be a mentor on NXT starting this Tuesday. Regal takes the mic and said this Tuesday will be the debut of WWE NXT. He said the show will feature 8 rookies paired with 8 WWE pros and announces he will be a mentor. Regal said of all the mentors, he has the most experience and longest tenure in WWE. He said he demands he be treated with respect. Regal said he is the model of professionalism and all of the rookies could learn something from him. Edge’s music then hits. Regal adds, “Now what on earth do you want sunshine?” Edge said listening to Regal talk is like watching paint dry. He said he thought he would come out here and say something people actually care about. Edge said by winning the Royal Rumble, he earned a spot in the main event at WrestleMania 26 this year. He said tomorrow night live on Raw he will make that decision. Edge said but tonight, he is here to do something else. Edge then levels Regal with a Spear.

WWE United States Championship
The Miz (c) w/ Big Show vs. MVP w/ Big Show

The bell rings and Miz and MVP have a stare down. Miz gets in MVP’s face and MVP cracks Miz with a right hand. MVP pushes Miz down in the corner and hits a few kicks to the body. They brawl to the outside and MVP sends Miz into the guard railing. MVP dodges a baseball slide from Miz and then levels Miz with a clothesline. MVP tosses Miz back in the ring and Miz gets back in control with a knee to the gut and a few more kicks to the body. MVP with a flying forearm on Miz followed by a mount with right hands. Miz catches MVP with double knees to the face after MVP executed a float over in the corner. Miz with a big clothesline on MVP. Miz applies a camel clutch on MVP. MVP then stands up with it still applied and executes a big electric arm chair on Miz. Miz then fires back with a quick DDT on MVP. Miz with a kick to the gut on MVP and follows that up with a boot to the face in the corner. Miz connects with his clothesline in the corner. Miz then goes up top, but MVP crotches Miz when he messes with the top rope. MVP jumps up with Miz, but Miz headbutts him away. MVP then jumps back up and tosses Miz off the top with a belly to belly suplex. Miz is busted open over his head as MVP hits a few right hands and elbows. MVP with a knee to the head on Miz. MVP with a ballin’ elbow drop. With the referee distracted, Big Show pulls out Miz. Mark Henry then runs up and starts going after Big Show. Big Show dodges a charge from Henry who goes crashing into the ringside timekeepers area smashing it to pieces. In the ring, MVP misses a running boot to the face. Miz distracts the referee, Big Show gets a knockout punch in on MVP, Miz pushes the referee away, covers MVP and gets the cover.

Winner & still WWE United States Champion: The Miz

After the match, a WWE official gets in the ring and starts attending to the cut on The Miz’s forehead. Big Show shows off the WWE United States Championship as they show a few replays.

– Highlights are shown of the Elimination Chamber WWE Championship match from earlier tonight that saw John Cena force Triple H to tap out to become the new WWE Champion. We then saw Vince McMahon announcing that a title match would take place now forcing Cena to defend against Batista, resulting in Batista hitting a Batista Bomb to become the new WWE Champion.

– Back live, the Elimination Chamber starts to lower around the ring.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship – Elimination Chamber
The Undertaker (c) vs. Chris Jericho vs. Rey Mysterio vs. CM Punk vs. John Morrison vs. R-Truth

Order of entry was: Rey Mysterio, John Morrison, Chris Jericho, champion The Undertaker, CM Punk and R-Truth. We start Punk and R-Truth. Undertaker wasted no time taking off his jacket and getting into his pod right away. Punk talked trash to everyone inside their pods.

Lots of back and forth action between Punk and Truth early on. Punk dropped Truth with a big dropkick and Truth later returned with one of his own. Truth dumped Punk to the steel floor and connected with a catapult sending Punk into the chain fencing. Punk then sends Truth into Rey Mysterio’s pod. Truth goes up top and hits a flip dive onto Punk over the steel floor. Truth continues to use the chamber as a weapon sending Punk into the chain once again and Punk bounces back inside the ring. Punk misses a wild kick, but dodges a big spinning charge by Truth. Punk then connects with the GTS on Truth, covers and gets the pinfall.

R-Truth is eliminated

Punk took the mic and walked towards The Undertaker saying he better pray his pod is open last because he will make him tap out. He talks some trash to Morrison. Time expires. Out first is Rey Mysterio. Mysterio with a few takedowns and big kick to the head on Punk. Mysterio drops Punk on the ropes, hits the ropes looking to hit a 619 when Punk catches Mysterio with a big snap powerslam. Mysterio counters a GTS attempt into a huracanrana into a pinfall for a close two count. Mysterio attempts a huracanrana on the steel floor on Punk, but Punk holds on and throws Mysterio into the side of the chamber fencing. Punk with a knee to the head in the corner on Mysterio and then launches Mysterio head first into the corner where his pod was! Punk puts Mysterio up on the top rope, Mysterio kicks him away and Mysterio turns to jump on the top area of his pod. Punk jumps back up trying to get Mysterio ready for a GTS. Mysterio counters out and crotches Punk on the top turnbuckle. Mysterio with a huracanrana on Punk from the top turnbuckle to the steel floor. Punk screams out in pain as he rolls back in the ring. Mysterio hits a springboard body splash, covers Punk and gets the pinfall.

CM Punk is eliminated.

Out second is Chris Jericho. Jericho quickly goes after Mysterio. Jericho lifts Mysterio up in the air and slams him back down on the mat. Mysterio dodges a Lionsault attempt. Mysterio with a 619 on Jericho. Jericho rolls out of the ring. Mysterio springboards himself towards Jericho, Jericho moves and Mysterio hits the fence but holds on like a spider as described by the commentators. Jericho then pulls Mysterio off by his feet and Mysterio crashes on the steel floor with force. Jericho starts choking Mysterio with his boots and then applies a rear chinlock. Mysterio breaks free, hits the ropes, jumps on Jericho and applies a Dragon Sleeper. Jericho breaks it up driving Mysterio back first into the corner. Jericho keeps a hold of Mysterio and locks on the Walls of Jericho.

Time expires and out third is John Morrison. Jericho breaks the hold on Mysterio and goes after Morrison. Morrison drops Jericho with a dropkick and does the same to Mysterio. Morrison sends Jericho to the steel floor. Morrison catches Mysterio with a huge kick to the head when he was trying to springboard up. Jericho drops Morrison with an elbow to the head. Jericho sends Morrison back first into a pod and Morrison grabs his head in pain. Jericho then tosses Mysterio onto the steel floor. Morrison then jumps over part of the ring and takes out Jericho and Mysterio. Morrison tosses Mysterio back in the ring and hits a standing moonsault. Mysterio with a huracanrana on Morrison. Mysterio goes for a 619, but Jericho cuts him off with a huge backbreaker. Morrison with a springboard kick to the head and Mysterio follows with a huracanrana on Morrison. Mysterio attempts a huracanrana off the top on Morrison, but Morrison hangs on and Mysterio crashes on the mat. Morrison then hits the Starship Pain and covers Mysterio to get the pinfall.

Rey Mysterio has been eliminated.

Morrison then goes after Jericho who drops Morrison and applies the Walls of Jericho. Time expires and out last is champion The Undertaker. Taker drops Jericho with right hands. Taker with a charge, snake eyes and big boot combo on Jericho. Taker tosses Morrison over the top rope to the steel floor and then drops a leg on Jericho. Taker gets Jericho and Morrison ready for a double chokeslam. They break it up and give Taker a double suplex. Jericho and Morrison give Taker a double clothesline to the steel floor. Morrison rolls up Jericho and gets a close two count. Jericho dumps Morrison onto the steel floor. Jericho starts going after Taker on the steel floor when Taker suddenly stands up. Jericho runs away and tries to lock himself in a pod. Taker fights his way in and starts beating down Jericho with right hands. Taker returns to the ring and splashes Morrison in the corner. A second splash to Morrison. Taker with snake eyes on Morrison. Morrison then recovers quickly, springboards off the ropes and catches Taker with a huge kick to the head. Morrison favors his ankle. Morrison goes up top, attempts Starship Pain and Taker gets a knee up. Jericho looks to attack on Taker, but Taker sits up and Jericho closes the pod again as the crowd laughs. Taker grabs Morrison and sends him into the pod Jericho is in. Taker gets Morrison up for a Last Ride when Jericho breaks it up. Morrison holds onto the cage fencing above Jericho and Taker. Jericho then sends Taker face first into a pod breaking it. Morrison jumps off and falls on Jericho. Jericho and Morrison roll to the ring where Morrison recovers hitting a knee to Jericho’s skull. Taker recovers and chokeslams Morrison on the steel floor. Taker drags Morrison into the ring, covers and gets the pinfall.

John Morrison has been eliminated.

Jericho charges and Taker drops him with right hands. Taker tosses Jericho into the corner, gets in a few shots, backs up and charges with a high knee. Jericho dodges a running big boot attempt. Jericho with a superplex on Taker off the top turnbuckle. Jericho covers and Taker kicks out. Jericho with a kick to Taker, hits the ropes, Taker slaps his hand across his neck, attempts a chokeslam, Jericho rolls through, attempts a Walls of Jericho, Taker looks to lock on the Hells Gate, Jericho breaks that and gets the Walls of Jericho applied. Taker shakes his head refusing to tap out. Taker is trying to lift his body up off the mat. Taker turns himself over to his back and gets the Hells Gate locked in. Jericho gets his feet on the ropes and pulls himself out of the submission. Taker grabs Jericho from the steel floor, gets him on his shoulders, Jericho counters off and then hits the Codebreaker. Jericho covers Taker and gets a two count. Jericho yells at Taker to stay down. Jericho with charges to Taker in the corner. Jericho jumps up hitting a few right hands when Taker grabs Jericho, lifts him up in the air, walks him across the ring and drops Jericho with a Last Ride. Taker signals for the end. Shawn Michaels then appears from out under the Elimination Chamber. HBK hits Taker with some Sweet Chin Music. Jericho sits up, sees what happened and covers Taker to get the pinfall.

Winner & NEW WWE World Heavyweight Champion: Chris Jericho

After the match, a surprised Chris Jericho is handed the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and starts smiling as he heads up the ramp holding the title up. In the ring, Shawn Michaels is standing above a knocked out Undertaker. The PPV goes off the air with more celebration from Jericho and HBK continuing to look down at Undertaker.

– A promo for WrestleMania 26 on March 28 airs.
