– The WWE promo hits.

– A video package runs highlighting the three Championship Scramble matches tonight. The video also highlights the feud between Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho leading into tonight’s Unsanctioned Match.

– A graphic opening hits welcoming us to Unforgiven. We go live to the Quicken Loans Arena where a series of pyro goes off in the entrance area. Todd Grisham is the first voice we hear and we are kicking off tonight’s PPV with the ECW Championship Scramble Match.

– Matt Hardy is out first to kick off the show.

ECW Championship Scramble Match

Rules for the match courtesy of WWE.com: “The rules for the pay-per-view match are simple. There will be a 20-minute time limit. Two randomly selected participants will start the match, with a new challenger entering every five minutes. If a Superstar scores a pinfall or submission on any other Superstar in the match, he is declared the “interim” champion for match purposes (and is not officially recognized as champion in the title history). He holds that title until another Superstar scores a subsequent pinfall or submission on any other Superstar. The last Superstar to earn a pinfall or submission within the time limit will be officially declared the ECW Champion.”

Out first to begin the scramble is Matt Hardy and The Miz. The bell rings and they lock up. Lots of arm exchanges and Hardy gets the first takedown on Miz. Shoulder block off the ropes by Hardy on Miz. Quick cover and Miz kicks out. Takedown by Hardy and Hardy applies a headlock on Miz. Another shoulder block by Hardy, but Miz fires back with a big hip toss. Miz with a takedown into a headlock on Hardy. Hardy fights to his feet, gets in a few shots and clotheslines Miz in the corner. Miz attempts a charge on Hardy in the opposite corner, but Hardy moves and throws Miz to the mat. Hardy with a pull-up powerbomb on Miz from the corner that results in a two count. Hardy with a big clothesline on Miz, cover, but only a two count. Miz throws Hardy down into the ropes. Miz with some forearm shots to the head of Hardy. Miz jumps over the back of Hardy, goes over the top rope and drops Hardy’s head across the second rope. Cover by Miz, but only a two count. Hardy with a sunset flip over Miz, but Miz kicks out and follows up with a clothesline. Cover by Miz and another kick out by Hardy. Matt Striker noted that Pat Patterson came up with tonight’s scramble concept. Hardy has Miz up in the corner, walks forward, Miz jumps down and hits the Reality Check. Hardy immediately rolls out and Miz yells out in frustration. Miz jumps out, throws Hardy back in, hooks the leg, but Hardy kicks out. Hardy kicks Miz in the corner as time expires.

Chavo Guerrero is the #3 entrant. Miz jumps at Chavo and Chavo pulls the top rope down to send Miz to the outside. Chavo jumps up on the top rope, jumps and connects with a frog splash from the top rope on Hardy! Chavo cover Hardy and gets the pinfall. Chavo Guerrero is now the interim ECW Champion. Miz with a big charge on Chavo in the corner. Miz comes back with a big rolling heel kick to the head of Miz. Chavo jumps and takes out Miz on the outside. Hardy jumps out, takes out Chavo and throws him back into the ring. Hardy with an elbow drop off the ropes, cover on Chavo, but only a two count. Miz is up on the top rope, Chavo cuts him off, Hardy walks up, Chavo kicks him away, Miz throws Chavo away, Miz jumps and takes out Hardy and Chavo with a double cross-body. Miz got Hardy more than Chavo on the spot. Miz with some elbows to Hardy. Hardy fires back with a clothesline on Miz and Chavo. Another on Miz, kick to Chavo and a high back body drop! Big right hand from Hardy to Miz. Hardy with a clothesline to a bulldog on Chavo while taking out Miz with a clothesline. Hardy with a Side Effect on Chavo, cover and gets the pinfall. Hardy is the current interim ECW Champion. Hardy takes down Miz and goes back to the headlock.

Time expires and out next is Mark Henry as the #4 entrant. Henry enters the ring as Hardy, Chavo and Miz all go after him. Henry fights them all off, but all three corner Hardy with rights and lefts. Hardy pushes all three away from the corner and they fly across the ring. Clotheslines to all three by Hardy. Hip toss by Hardy on Chavo. Hardy with a press slam on Hardy. Henry with a big body splash on Miz. Henry picks up Chavo and splashes him on the pat. Cover and Henry gets the pinfall. Mark Henry is now the current interim ECW Champion. Hardy with a boot to the face on Henry. Hardy attempts a springboard, but Henry trips him up and Hardy crashes on the ropes. Henry lifts Miz up int he air and Miz crashes to the mat. Chavo goes after Henry, slides under him, jumps up, Henry catches Chavo and applies a bearhug. While this takes place, Hardy is up on the top rope, jumps and Henry catches Hardy throwing Chavo away. Henry gets a bearhug applied on Hardy.

Time expires and out last is Finlay as the #5 entrant. Henry throws Hardy away and Finlay charges the ring going after Henry leveling him with a DDT. Cover by Finlay, but Henry kicks out. Henry chokes Finlay to stop his offense and then applies a bearhug on him. The clock is counting down as we have less four minutes and 20 seconds left. Hornswoggle distracts Henry allowing Finlay to take him out with a shillelagh. Finlay and Hardy throw Henry over the top rope. Finlay then takes out Hardy with a Celtic Crush. Pinfall by Finlay on Hardy. Finlay is now the current interim ECW Champion. Miz with a missile dropkick on Finlay. Hardy then takes out Miz with a Twist of Fate, covers and gets the pinfall. Cover and Hardy gets the pinfall. Matt Hardy is now the current interim ECW Champion. Henry jumps back into the ring. Chavo hits a frog splash on Miz, but Hardy breaks up the pinfall. Henry with a body slam on Miz, covers and Hardy breaks up the pinfall. We have two minutes left as Henry body slams Chavo, covers and Hardy breaks that up. Henry body slams Finlay and Hardy breaks up that pinfall attempt. Miz with a roll up on Hardy, but Henry kicks Miz in the face to break it up. Chavo jumps off the top and Henry catches him and slams him down. Cover by Henry and Hardy breaks that up. Roll up by Finlay on Hardy and Hardy kicks out. Finlay attempts a Celtic Crush on Hardy, but Henry levels Finlay with a big boot. Henry with a body splash on Miz and Hardy breaks that up. We have 50 seconds left as Hardy throws Chavo out. Hardy breaks up another pinfall by Henry on Finlay. Hardy tosses Miz out. Hardy tosses Chavo out. Finlay gives Hardy a spinebuster, tries to cover, but Chavo breaks that up. Hardy then stays on the ground with all four making sure they don’t pin him as the final 10 seconds runs down and Hardy gets the win!

Winner & NEW ECW Champion: Matt Hardy

After the match, Matt Hardy leaves the ring and is handed the ECW Championship. He celebrates holding the title up in the air. We see a shot of a frustrated Mark Henry. Hardy walks to the top of the ramp and throws the ECW Title over his shoulder with a smile on his face.

– A promo for WrestleMania 25 airs.

– Back live, we see highlights of the ECW Championship Scramble that saw Matt Hardy survive to become the new ECW Champion.

– Backstage, Jeff Hardy congratulates Matt Hardy. Matt tells Jeff things would be even sweeter if he wins the WWE Championship tonight in the Smackdown Championship Scramble.

– Jim Ross and Tazz plug tonight’s text vote: Should Vickie Guerrero have allowed The Big Show in the Championship Scramble?

World Tag Team Championship Match
Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase Jr. (c’s) vs. Cryme Tyme

The bell rings and we start with JTG and Cody Rhodes. JTG walks up with both fists in the air backing Cody up to the corner. Cody yells at the referee to pull him of. JTG does this again and complains to the referee. JTG with a big right hand and dropkick to Cody. JTG levels DiBiase with a dropkick as well. Shad hits the ring and he sends Rhodes and DiBiase over the top rope with a double clothesline. Shad then launches JTG in the air over the top rope to take out Rhodes and DiBiase. Back in the ring, Rhodes sends JTG face first into the corner as DiBiase gets the tag. JTG with a splash on Ted, tag to Shad and Shad covers Ted for a two count. Ted dodges a clothesline in the corner, but Shad levels him with a big body slam. Elbow drop by Shad, cover and Ted kicks out. Ted with a kick to the face and tag to Cody. Cody punches Shad in the gut and hits a few forearms. Cody with a kick, Shad reverses an irishw hip and JTG leaps over the top rope taking out Cody having done a blind tag earlier.

Cody with a slap to JTG using the referee to hit the corner. JTG goes after Cody on the outside allowing Ted to get in a cheap clothesline. In the ring, Cody covers JTG and gets a two count. Cody keeps JTG down and tags in Ted. Ted with a big kick to the chest of JTG. Quick tag back to Cody who goes up ton the top rope and drops a fist over JTG. Ted drops JTG’s arm over the top rope while Cody had the referee distracted. Cover by Cody and JTG again kicks out. Jerry Lawler mocks Michael Cole for talking too much during the match and not enjoying it. Isn’t that Cole’s job? Anyway, tag to Ted who levels JTG with a dropkick. Ted goes back to work on JTG’s left arm that both have been working on. JTG with an elbow to Ted followed by a big back suplex. Cody with a tag, knocks Shad off the ring apron and then they double team JTG with the referee holding Shad back. JTG fights back with a boot to the mouth on Cody. Cody comes in with some big punches and kicks. Cody with a submission applied on JTG’s arm. JTG counters a back suplex, but Cody kicks him in the gut.

Cody with a scoop slam on JTG near the corner. Cody goes up top, attempts a moonsault, but JTG rolls out of the way and Cody rolls around in pain. Tag to Ted and tag to Shad. Shad gets the hot tag and levels Ted with an atomic drop and clothesline in the corner. Shad drops Ted off the corner followed by a big clothesline off the ropes. Cody breaks up the pinfall, but JTG takes out Cody. Cody back in with a DDT on Shad, rolls away, Ted crawls over, hooks the leg, but Shad gets his foot on the bottom rope to break the pinfall. Tag to Cody who gets taken out with a clothesline from Shad. Shad puts Cody on his shoulders, tags in JTG, Ted runs in, pulls Cody off, JTG jumps over Shad, JTG with a small package on Cody, Ted rolls Cody over on JTG with the small package still locked and Cody gets the pinfall.

Winners & STILL World Tag Team Champions: Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase Jr.

After the match, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase Jr. celebrate their win holding up the World Tag Team Titles. They get back in the ring and stare down Cryme Tyme with the titles in hand. Cryme Tyme goes after them when a bigger guy who looks very much like the former Haku hits the ring and takes out Cryme Tyme. He then celebrates with Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase Jr. Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler have no clue who this person is.

– Backstage, we see a shot of WWE’s medical staff wrapping and taping up Shawn Michaels’ left arm for tonight.

– A video package runs highlighting the feud between Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho.

Unsanctioned Match
Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho

The match begins with Shawn Michaels charging the ring and going after Chris Jericho. Michaels is wearing street clothes with his arm taped up. He kicks Jericho a few times, removes his boot and levels Jericho with it. Michael Cole notes how this is completely legal. HBK again takes out Jericho with his boot as Jericho falls to the outside. HBK puts his boot back on and tackles Jericho on the outside over the guard railing into the crowd. HBK continues to hit Jericho with some right hands. HBK takes Jericho off his feet and catapults him face first into the steel ring post. HBK tries to hit Jericho over the back with a steel chair, but Jericho dodges it, grabs HBK and sends him face first intot he announce table area. Jericho with a DDT on HBK on the outside. Jericho then pulls a table out from under the ring and throws it at HBK. Jericho sets the table up, gets HBK up for a powerbomb, HBK gets in a few rights to break it up, but Jericho then drops him across the ring apron face first.

In the ring, Jericho brings a steel chair and drives it into the gut of HBK. Jericho then cracks it over the back of HBK. Jericho then wedges the chair in the corner between the top and middle corner. Jericho with some punches and kicks to HBK in the corner. Jericho chokes HBK with his boot in the corner. Jericho attempts a charge, but HBK moves and Jericho hits the corner steel post. Jericho then locks the head of HBK over the top rope. Jericho looks to be trying to get him over for a suplex. HBK blocks it, but Jericho gets him up in the air somehow. HBK comes back down on the ring apron and clotheslines Jericho back in the ring. HBK with big right hands to Jericho. HBK with a flying forearm off the top rope and nips up near the corner. HBK chokes Jericho to the mat and then the referee breaks it up. HBK goes up top, jumps and connects with the flying elbow. HBK starts tuning up the band in the corner. HBK goes for the Sweet Chin Music, but HBK stops himself and Cole said HBK wants to punish Jericho even more.

HBK gets in some stiff right hands and continues this as Jericho falls to the mat. HBK then locks in a Crossface on Jericho. Jericho lifts himself up and then drives HBK face first into the steel chair that Jericho had set up earlier. HBK starts grabbing his bad eye in pain. HBK gets to his feet as Jericho punches the bad eye of HBK once again. Jericho continues to go to work on the bad eye of HBK. Jericho with some jabs to HBK. HBK gets to his feet each time and continues to fall to his knes. HBK gets in a surprise right hand that levels Jericho. Jericho sends HBK into the corner and HBK flips up hitting the steel chair. HBK flips back down and tackles Jericho. Big forearm from HBK that takes out Jericho. HBK tries to lift Jericho up in a powerbomb, but Jericho counters back down and locks HBK in the Walls of Jericho. HBK gets to the ropes to break it up, but Jericho refuses to break the hold and the referee can’t do anything due to the unsanctioned rules. HBK, still in the Walls of Jericho, reaches down and pulls out a fire extinguisher.

HBK sprays it into the face of Jericho to break the submission. HBK picks up the fire extinguisher and nails Jericho in the head with it. Jericho falls to the outside holding his head. HBK slowly walks up to Jericho and kicks him right in the ribs with force. HBK then sends Jericho into the steel guard railing near the entrance area. HBK does this a second time to the other guard railing. HBK then grabs a lifeless Jericho, hooks an arm over his shoulder and gives Jericho a suplex on the steel ramp. Lance Cade then runs out, but HBK takes him out with a big right hand. HBK again levels Jericho with a big right hand. Lance Cade then uppercuts the bad tricep of HBK and levels him with a huge clothesline. Jericho then wraps the injured arm of HBK over the steel ring post and Cade drives his boot into it. They throw HBK back in the ring and Cade holds HBK for Jericho who gets in a few slaps. Jericho headbutts HBK. Cade then holds out HBK’s bad arm and Jericho kicks it. Cade then leaves the ring, gets a steel chair, hands it to Jericho and Jericho drops the chair over the bad arm of HBK.

Jericho does this a second time to HBK as the fans boo with Jericho holding the steel chair up in the air. Jericho mounts HBK and gets in a few stiff rights allowing Cade to lock up HBK’s arm inside the steel chair. Jericho goes up to the top rope as HBK kicks Cade away. Cade hits the ropes causing Jericho to get crotched. Cade is back up and HBK levels him with some Sweet Chin Music. HBK now has the steel chair and cracks it over the head of Jericho who falls off the turnbuckle and crashes through the table at ringside! HBK then walks over to Jericho and slams the steel chair over his body a few times. HBK then clears off the Raw announce table and puts Cade on it. HBK rolls back in the ring, goes up to the top turnbuckle, but sees Jericho standing up and jumps down. HBK kicks Jericho in the head and puts Jericho over Cade on the Raw announce table. HBK rolls back in the ring, goes up to the top turnbuckle, jumps and connects with a flying elbow over Jericho and Cade crashing through the announce table! HBK sits down against the ring taking in the moment. HBK then grabs Jericho, throws him into the ring and stands over him.

Jericho’s nose is bloody at this point. HBK removes his belt and begins cracking it over the back of Jericho who screams out in pain. The referee yells at HBK and HBK continues his assault on Jericho using the belt. HBK wraps the belt around his knuckles, sits down near Jericho, wraps Jericho’s arm across his throat and locks the other arm up allowing HBK to get in repeated shots to the head using the belt. HBK then mounts Jericho and gets in more punches using the belt when the referee calls for the bell.

Winner: Shawn Michaels

After the match, the referee pulls Shawn Michaels off of Chris Jericho and raises his hand during the winning announcement. Michaels continues to stare down Jericho against the rope. Michaels walks back over, mounts Jericho and gets in more punches. The referee pulls Michaels off Jericho UFC-style. Michaels backs off and continues to stare at Jericho. Michaels then levels the referee with some Sweet Chin Music. Three referees hit the ring and attend to Jericho. The fans start a loud “HBK” chant. Michaels falls to his knees and Michael Cole says HBK must be wondering if God will ever forgive him for what he did tonight and if he will forgive himself. Michaels gets back to his feet as his music hits. We then see highlights of the match leading to the finish. Back live, we see a shot of Michaels walking to the back.

– A promo for WWE No Mercy on October 5 airs.

– Backstage, we see Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase Jr. with Afa Jr. when Randy Orton appears. Cody said he not only won their match, they made a statement. He introduced Manu, son of Afa of The Wild Samoans. Manu said Orton can knock all the champions on Raw, but said Rhodes and DiBiase were in another class. Ted asked if he was impressed. Orton said he has nothing to say but congratulations. He said they should be proud of stealing a win? Orton said they have so much talent and wonders why they think they accomplished anything since all they have is luck. He said he is not impressed at all and walks away.

– Jim Ross and Tazz plug our text vote again tonight asking if The Big Show should have been left out of the WWE Championship Scramble Match.

WWE Championship Scramble Match

Out first to begin the scramble is Jeff Hardy and WWE U.S. Champion Shelton Benjamin. They showed a promo of Benjamin from earlier today saying gold is the measure of a man and he will have two pieces of gold after tonight. The bell rings and here we go. Lock up and Benjamin gets a quick roll up that results in a one count on Hardy. Hardy with a roll up of his own and Benjamin kicks out before any count. Benjamin with a headlock on Hardy. Benjamin with a shoulder block off the ropes, cover, but only a two count. Hardy with a roll up on Benjamin that Benjamin quickly kicks out of. Hardy drives Benjamin into the corner and gets in a few shots. Hardy with a sunset flip on Benjamin that Benjamin powers out of quickly. Benjamin goes back to the headlock on the mat. Benjamin misses a heel kick when Hardy ducks, but Benjamin is able to power Hardy with force into the corner. Cover by Benjamin and Hardy kicks out after two. Benjamin stays on Hardy lighting him up with stomps and kicks. Snap suplex from Benjamin, cover and Hardy kicks out after two. Counter by Hardy in mid-air on Benjamin into a splash. Hardy with some forearms to Benjamin. Hardy with a scoop slam and leg drop over Benjamin that results in a two count. Time expires.

Out next is The Brian Kendrick as the #3 entrant. In the ring, Hardy tosses Benjamin over the top rope and Benjamin lands on the ring apron. Hardy leaps over with Benjamin. Benjamin attempts a german suplex, but Hardy hangs on. Brian Kendrick takes out Benjamin and brings Hardy in getting in a big kick. Kendrick with a flying forearm, cover on Hardy, but Hardy kicks out. Kendrick with some quick kicks to Hardy on the mat and then a big kick to the back. Kendrick with another cover and gets a two count. Kendrick misses a splash when Hardy moves in the corner. Hardy with a huge powerbomb that finishes with Hardy slamming Kendrick face first into the mat. Pinfall by Hardy on Kendrick and he gets it! Jeff Hardy is now the interim WWE Champion. Benjamin comes after Hardy, but Hardy fights back with a clothesline and quick suplex. Benjamin with a few elbows to the head on Hardy. Benjamin with a cover and Hardy again kicks out. Hardy dodges a leap by Benjamin allowing Benjamin to hit the corner with force. Benjamin counters a Twist of Fate attempt and hits The Paydirt! Kendrick breaks up the pinfall attempt and tosses Benjamin out of the ring. Kendrick hits The Kendrick (Sliced Bread #2) in the corner on Hardy, covers and gets the pinfall. The Brian Kendrick is the current interim WWE Champion. Kendrick jumps around celebrating as time expires.

Out next is MVP as the #4 entrant. MVP takes out Kendrick with some right hands and then lifts him up in the air slamming him back down face first. MVP hits a baseball slide kicking Hardy to the outside and tosses Kendrick over the top rope to the outside. MVP levels Benjamin with a knee to the face. MVP picks up Benjamin and hits a quick uppercut. MVP gets ready for a big kick when Kendrick jumps in and levels MVP with a huge kick of his own! Hardy takes out Kendrick with a big forearm. Hardy with a kick to Benjamin that sends Benjamin and MVP into the corner. Hardy hits his big kick to the sternum on Benjamin and MVP, covers Benjamin, but Kendrick breaks it up. Kendrick kicks Hardy out and then goes to work on Benjamin. Kendrick with some kicks to Benjamin and then chokes him using the ropes for leverage. Benjamin fires back taking out Kendrick with a huge samoan drop. MVP crawls over, covers Benjamin and Kendrick breaks it up. MVP grabs Kendrick, but Kendrick springboards off the corner and hits a quick cross-body on MVP. Kendrick with a big kick to Benjamin’s face. Kendrick with a kick to MVP’s face as well. Benjamin explodes with a big clothesline from the corner on Kendrick. Benjamin has Kendrick up for a powerbomb, but Kendrick counters into a huracanrana. MVP and Kendrick exchange rights and lefts. Kendrick levels MVP with a big kick to the head. Time expires.

Out last is Triple H as the #5 entrant. Triple H hits the ring and clotheslines Benjamin over the top rope and Kendrick in the ring. Knee to the face by Triple H on MVP. Kendrick jumps over Triple H and takes out MVP with a flying forearm. Spinebuster by Triple H on Kendrick. Triple H tosses MVP over the top rope, kicks Kendrick in the gut and hits the Pedigree. Pinfall by Triple H on Kendrick and he gets it. Triple H is now the current interim WWE Champion. JR said there is still a lot of time left. Triple H and Benjamin brawl on the outside. Benjamin sends Triple H shoulder first into the steel steps. Hardy rolls MVP back in as we see a little over three minutes left. Hardy with a Twist of Fate on MVP, cover and Hardy gets the pinfall. Jeff Hardy is now again the current interim WWE Champion. Kendrick kicks Hardy in the gut and goes for The Kendrick, but Hardy counters, lifts Kendrick up and drops him down face first. We have two minutes and 30 seconds left as Hardy goes up top and Triple H trips him up crotching Hardy on the turnbuckle. Triple H grabs Kendrick and hits the Pedigree. Cover by Triple H and he gets it. Triple H is now again the current interim WWE Champion. Jeff Hardy then hits Kendrick with a Swanton Bomb, covers and gets the pinfall. Jeff Hardy is now again the current interim WWE Champion. Hardy tosses Triple H over the top rope and then leaps out taking him out. In the ring, MVP has Kendrick up on the turnbuckle. MVP falls down, Benjamin jumps up and they have a tower of doom from the corner. Hardy grabs MVP, MVP counters, but Hardy hits a Whisper in the Wind on MVP. Hardy with a Swanton Bomb on Benjamin. 15 seconds left. Hardy with a Pedigree on MVP, covers, seconds ticking down, Hardy covers Benjamin, but it doesn’t matter as Triple H captures the last pinfall.

After the match, Triple H celebrates with the WWE Championship as Jeff Hardy gets to his feet. Triple H and Jeff Hardy shake hands as Triple H motions he was very close. We then see highlights of the match leading to the finish. Back live, we see Triple H celebrating at the top of the entrance ramp holding up the WWE Title. We see a shot of Jeff Hardy frustrated about how close he was to winning.

– Backstage, Todd Grisham is with Shawn Michaels. Grisham asks if he is content with his victory over Chris Jericho. Michaels said this was the first PPV in three months that he hasn’t spent in a hospital. He said the first thing he is going to do is go home and spend time with his family. Michaels says he is content with his victory. Is he satisifed or feels a sense of closure? No. He said if he had his choice he would continue to destroy Jericho every night. Michaels tells Jericho that the worst is still yet to come.

– Backstage, Eve is with World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk. Punk knows the odds are against him tonight when Randy Orton walks up. Orton said his chances would be greater if the guy holding the title wasn’t an absolute fluke. He said it wouldn’t be a normal night if Orton didn’t show up to doubt him. Punk noticed Orton is no longer wearing a sling. Orton assures him he is still injured. He adds he is going to prove he is more than a fulke tonight. Cody Rhodes, Ted DiBiase Jr. and Manu all run up and take out Punk. Kofi Kingston jumps in to help, but they take him out. Orton then kicks Punk right in the head and he yells, “Now that is impressive!”

WWE Divas Championship Match
Michelle McCool (c) vs. Maryse

The bell rings and the girls lock up. Both push away and circle the ring. Another lock up and Maryse goes behind working the arm. Lots of grappling on the mat. Michelle with a kick and side russian leg sweep on Maryse for a two count. Maryse dodges some kicks and goes back to work on Michelle’s arm. Michelle with a flip from the corner and hip toss. Michelle comes out with Maryse on the outside and Maryse tosses her into the crowd. Michelle responds with a big kick to the face and jumping splash off the railing onto Maryse. Michelle tosses Maryse into the ring and Maryse hits a chop block taking Michelle down. Maryse kicks the Michelle’s leg a few times and then drives it down knee first into the mat. Maryse pulls back on Michelle’s leg. Maryse locks up both legs of Michelle keeping the submission applied. Michelle counters out and applies a heel hook. Maryse gets to the bottom rope to break it up. Maryse drops Michelle down across the second rope. Maryse chokes her against the rope. Michelle responds with a big kick to Maryse’s head. Both ladies exchange elbows. Michelle with a big kick, Maryse with a sunset flip, Michelle couners out and dropkicks Maryse in the face. Cover, but only a two count. Maryse fights back with a kick to Michelle. Another big kick to the gut of Maryse. Michelle picks her up and slams her back down on the mat face first. Michelle hooks the leg and gets the pinfall.

– 77% of people think The Big Show should have been allowed to be in tonight’s Championship Scramble for Smackdown.

– Mike Adamle is out. He said as a result of what happened moments ago backstage, it appears that CM Punk will not be able to compete tonight. Fans boo. Adamle said if CM Punk cannot compete, he will have no alternative but to find a replacement. He said rest assured that Raw’s 5 man Championship Scramble will take place tonight.

– Big Show is now out. He grabs a mic and says, “Hi!” Big Show said he would like to make a suggestion saying that if Mike Adamle is looking for a replacement, he should look no farther than the world’s largest athlete. He said he is sick and tired of how Vickie Guerrero is running Smackdown and thinks even Adamle can make a good decision. Big Show mentions the results of tonight’s text vote and asks the fans if they would vote him in tonight. The fans cheer loudly and Big Show thanks them. His music hits as Vickie Guerrero begins to walk down. Vickie has a mic and asks Big Show if he understands english. She said he disregarded her instructions and threatens to suspend him. Vickie calls him a big dumb giant. Big Show stares her down and she says to never look at him that way. Vickie tells him to go to the back right now when the famous druid music plays. Big Show starts laughing as druids appearing wheeling down a casket. Big Show waves goodbye to her and claps as the druids get to the ringside area. They place the casket near the ring and walk away. The Undertaker appears on the TitanTron. He said he promised he was coming for her at Unforgiven. Undertaker said that coffin would also be her final resting place and said the only question remaining is if she will go voluntarily or if he has to come down himself. This is getting even a little corny even for my tastes.

The Undertaker’s music then hits as the arena goes dark. The Big Show holds Vickie as she tries to get away. Vickie breaks free, but Big Show catches up to her and brings her back to the ring. The Undertaker appears and walks down the ramp. He stands by the coffin and opens it up. Undertaker gets into the ring and does his usual entrance of removing his attire. Vickie is still being held by Undertaker when he walks up and chokes her. Big Show then levels Undertaker with a right hand and starts going after Undertaker in the corner with some big rights and lefts. Undertaker falls to the outside and Big Show begins driving his knees into his sternum. Undertaker fires back with some right hands, but Big Show lifts him up and drives him back first into the steel ring post. Big Show then drops Undertaker face first off the top of the coffin. Big Show then sends Undertaker into the guard railing and tips the coffin over. Big Show with some more shots and a headbutt to Undertaker. Big Show tosses Undertaker in the ring. Big Show hits him with two headbutts and then a huge right hand. Big Show drops an elbow on Undertaker a few times. Big Show with another big right hand that sends Undertaker to the mat. Big Show then props up Undertaker allowing Vickie to slap him and spit in his face. Big Show and Vickie Guerrero then head to the back.

– Video is shown of Raw last week when Randy Orton insulted the World Title reign of CM Punk. Punk walked out insulting Orton as well. Footage is also shown of Punk throwing water in the face of Orton. We then see footage from earlier tonight of Cody Rhodes, Ted DiBiase Jr. and Manu attacking Punk. It ends with Orton kicking Punk right in the head.

– Backstage, we see William Regal trying to get Mike Adamle to consider him for tonight’s Raw Championship Scramble. Adamle said there is still a chance Punk could compete tonight.

World Heavyweight Championship Scramble Match

Rules for the match courtesy of WWE.com: “The match has a 20-minute time limit. Two randomly selected participants will start the match, with a new challenger entering the match every five minutes. If a Superstar scores a pinfall or submission on any other Superstar in the match, he is declared the “interim” champion for match purposes (and is not officially recognized as champion in the title history). He holds that designation until another Superstar scores a subsequent pinfall or submission on any other Superstar. The last Superstar to earn a pinfall or submission within the time limit will be officially declared the World Heavyweight Champion.”

Out first to begin the scramble is Batista and JBL. The bell rings and here we go. JBL backs away to the corner to get away from Batista. JBL with a headlock on Batista and Batista breaks it up with a shoulder block. JBL with some offense on Batista until Batista cuts him off with a big clothesline. Batista drops JBL’s knee off his leg and then connects with a chop block on JBL. Batista with a Figure Four on JBL. JBL fights out of the submission and gets to his feet. Batista with some right hand, but JBL dumps Batista to the outside. JBL with some right hands and forearms to Batista on the outside. Batista then fights back sending JBL shoulder first into the steel ring steps. Time expires as Batista returns to the ring.

Out next is Kane as the #3 entrant. Kane enters the ring, kicks Batista and gets a quick right hand off. Batista fights back with a big clothesline. Kane comes back with a big boot that levels Batista. Kane with a dropkick to the shoulder of Batista coming off the ropes. Kane begins kicking Batista to the mat in the corner. Batista catches Kane with an elbow in the corner and follows it up with a clothesline. Batista starts choking Kane with his boot. Kane with a side slam on Batista. Kane goes up top, attempts a flying clothesline, but Batista moves. Kane counters a Spear, goes for a chokeslam, Batista fights out, looks to hit the Batista Bomb and JBL walks up kicking Batista in the head. JBL gets caught by Kane who kicks Batista away, JBL misses a Clothesline from Hell and Kane connects with a chokeslam getting a pinfall on JBL. Kane is now the current interim World Heavyweight Champion. Kane goes after Batista hitting a few right hands. Time expires.

Out next is Rey Mysterio as the #4 entrant. Mysterio hits the ring and dropkicks Kane in the knees two times. Mysterio with a kick to the head on Kane, covers, but barely gets a one count. More kicks from Mysterio to Kane. Mysterio with a springboard dropkick on Kane sending Kane to the outside. JBL then comes after Mysterio, but Mysterio takes him out with a huracanrana. Mysterio with a bulldog to JBL, kicks Kane on the ring apron, attempts the 619, but Kane ducks, stands up and clotheslines Mysterio from the ring apron. Kane returns to the ring and takes out Mysterio in the corner. Batista runs up and gives Kane a big back suplex. Batista with a knee to JBL as he sat up. Mysterio stands on the shoulders of Batista and hits a body splash on Kane. Batista covers Kane, but Kane kicks out after two. They do this a second time, but Mysterio drops down and rolls up Batista. Batista kicks out and Batista asks what that was. JBL catches Batista with a right hand. JBL grabs Mysterio and gives him a fallaway slam onto Batista. JBL covers Batista, but only gets a two count. Big boot by JBL to Kane followed by elbow drops. JBL with a big clothesline to Mysterio, cover, but kick out. Time expires.

Out last replacing CM Punk is Chris Jericho as the #5 entrant. Jericho walks down favoring his wrist with blood still on his face. You can see marks on his back after being whipped by a belt by Shawn Michaels earlier tonight. In the ring, we are under four minutes remaining as Batista levels Mysterio with a Spear. Batista with a Spear to Jericho. Batista gives Kane a huge scoop slam and takes out JBL with a Spear. Batista covers JBL, but JBL puts his foot on the bottom rope to break the pinfall. Mysterio with a big kick to Batista’s leg. Mysterio with a 619 to Kane. Batista covers Kane, but Mysterio breaks it up. We have three minutes left as Mysterio takes out JBL with a leg drop. Batista has Mysterio up, but Mysterio jumps down and hits a 619 on JBL. Mysterio gets leveled on the ring apron by Batista. JBL with a clothesline on Kane and Batista with a spinebuster on JBL. Kane is still the interim champion as he picks up Batista and works on him in the corner with 1 minute and 30 seconds left. Kane is up top and hits a flying clothesline on Batista. Kane covers Batista for some reason and Batista kicks out after two. Under a minute left when Batista takes out Kane with a huge Spear. Batista with a spinebuster on Kane, cover and he gets the pinfall. Batista is now the interim World Heavyweight Champion. We have 20 seconds left as Batista is the only one standing. Mysterio jumps, but Batista catches him and slams him back down. Jericho then crawls in and pins Kane to get the pinfall. Chris Jericho is now the interim World Heavyweight Champion as the seconds expire. Batista turns out and can’t believe it as time expires.

1. Kane.
2. Batista.
3. Chris Jericho (final champion).

Winner & NEW World Heavyweight Champion: Chris Jericho

After the match, Chris Jericho celebrates with the World Heavyweight Championship as Batista has a shocked look on his face. We see highlights of the match leading to the finish in seeing how Jericho was able to sneak in and get the pinfall. Back live, Jericho is still celebrating with the World Title as Batista leaves the ring still shocked. The PPV goes off the air with Jericho clutching the World Title.
