– The TNA promo hits.

– A video package rolls looking at the history of Chicago and then transitioning into what will take place at Bound For Glory tonight featuring Kurt Angle vs. Jeff Jarrett with Mick Foley as special guest enforcer, Booker T vs. AJ Styles vs. Christian Cage and Samoa Joe defending the TNA World Title against Sting.

– A graphic opening hits welcoming us to Bound For Glory. We go live to the Sears Centre Arena in Chicago, IL. We see the Steel Asylum already over the six-sided ring as a series of pyro goes off in the entrance area.

– Out now: Alex Shelley, “Black Machismo” Jay Lethal, Curry Man, Chris Sabin, Sonjay Dutt w/ So Cal Val, Chris Sabin, Jimmy Rave w/ Christy Hemme, Johnny Devine, Petey Williams, Shark Boy and Super Eric.

Steel Asylum Match
Alex Shelley, “Black Machismo” Jay Lethal, Curry Man, Chris Sabin, Sonjay Dutt w/ So Cal Val, Chris Sabin, Jimmy Rave w/ Christy Hemme, Johnny Devine, Petey Williams, Shark Boy and Super Eric

The winner must climb to the top of the ceiling and escape to win. The bell rings and we see Dutt taking out Rave with a multiple revolution head scissors takedown. Williams takes out Dutt with a jawbreaker and a spinning heel kick. Shark Boy is trying to climb up, but Alex Shelley pulls him down. Devine levels Williams with a flying knee. Action is all over the place. Shelley and Sabin crotch Eric in the corner and follow it up with a huge dropkick by Sabin. Curry Man and Shark Boy go after The Machineguns. Sabin kicks Curry Man in the gut. Sabin with a huge dropkick to Curry Man and Shark Boy with Shelley holding both in place. Dutt hits Curry Man with a big right and Sabin and Shelley take out Shark Boy in the corner. Devine misses a shot on Shark Boy in the corner. Devine takes a few clotheslines and splashes in the corner from everyone involved. Williams goes up and gets pulled down. Huge triple suplex in the middle of the ring allowing Dutt to jump up.

Lethal jumps up to take him out. Williams with a side russian leg sweep on Rave. Machineguns with a double team on Rave in the corner. Curry Man takes out The Machineguns with a headbutt on Sabin and takes out Shelley. Curry Man with a jawbreaker on Shelley on the top rope, but Sabin follows that up with a huge dropkick. Sabin is up and Shark Boy pulls him down with a big leg sweep. Super Eric brings Devine down off the ropes. Dutt takes out Curry Man on the top rope and Lethal catches up with Dutt. Lethal and Dutt exchange punches. Lethal is sent off the ropes after being sent face first into the side of the asylum. Curry Man with a backbreaker off the top rope on Dutt. Rave levels Curry Man with a clothesline. Rave puts Shelley up on the top rope. Lethal walks up and stands on the shoulders of Shelley to get up the side of the asylum. Rave comes under Lethal and Lethal hits a huracanrana on Rave! Shelley with a splash on Rave. Super Eric with a double death valley driver on Dutt and Devine.

Super Eric starts climbing when The Machineguns cut him off. Sabin takes out Lethal with a backbreaker. Eric jumps off splashing Lethal. Machineguns launch Eric into the side of the asylum. Machineguns take out Curry Man, Shark Boy and then go after Rave. Williams with a Canadian Destroyer on Shelley! Williams is up climbing the dome. Sabin jumps up to cut him off. Shark Boy slides in between them. Shark Boy with a double Stunner off the ropes on both Sabin and Williams. Rave takes out Shark Boy and then goes up. Devine throws Rave off and hits the Devine Intervention. That looked dangerous. Devine takes out Lethal with a huge moonsault. Curry Man with a Spice Rack on Devine. Curry Man pulls Dutt off the top rope and gives him a gorilla press slam into the corner! Curry Man is climbing up the dome, gets near the top and Dutt is following him up. Lethal is up next. Dutt throws Curry Man off and Curry Man crashes in the middle of the ring! Lethal catches up to Dutt and throws some stiff right hands. Lethal gets to the opening, pulls himself up and is out!

Winner: “Black Machismo” Jay Lethal

After the match, Mike Tenay announces that Lethal is now the new #1 contender for the TNA X Division Title. We then see highlights of the match leading to the finish.

– We go to ringside with Mike Tenay and Don West. They rundown the card for tonight.

– Backstage, we go to Jeremy Borash who is in Jim Cornette’s office. Cornette is excited about tonight’s PPV. Mick Foley walks in and hugs Cornette. Cornette gives up his seat to him and says it is great Foley is in TNA. Foley thanks him and brings up riding with him back in the day. Cornette plugs TNA going HD on October 23 in Las Vegas and said he has to go entertain the Spike TV people here. The Beautiful People walk in and want to know where Jim Cornette is. Angelina Love complains about not having blue M&M’s. Love throws them at Foley and he catches them in his mouth laughing. Velvet Sky insults Foley’s fashion sense. Love demands Cornette get the M&M’s situation figured out. Borash says maybe Foley wants to wear velvet instead. Foley does the cheesy laugh and a Borat “HIGH FIVE!” to end the segment.

Rhino, ODB & Rhaka Khan vs. Kip James & The Beautiful People

The bell rings and we start with ODB and Angelina Love. ODB pushes Love down and then chops her chest a few times. ODB with a splash in the corner on Love, attempts a fallaway slam, but Love counters by raking the eyes and tagging in Velvet Sky. Sky pie faces Rhino and then ODB takes out Sky with a few forearms. Tag to Rhino and he goes after Sky working her arm. Rhino with a hip toss on Sky and she screams out in pain. The fans call for a Gore and Kip James hits the ring pulling Sky out. James gets in Rhino’s face from the ring apron and referee Brooks breaks it up. Rhino then chaess James, James slides in, Sky attempts a clothesline and Rhino dodges it. Rhaka Khan tags herself in and Kip James gets the tag. James and Khan have a stare down and she is just as tall. James chokes Khan and Khan chokes James. Khan gets a “crotch claw” as Mike Tenay called on James, but Love gets the tag. Khan with a boot to the gut on Love and ODB tags herself in.

ODB with a scoop slam on Love and James runs in taking out ODB with a makeup bag with referee Broks distracted. Love with a cover and ODB kicks out. ODB with a back suplex on Love and tags in Rhino. James gets the tag. Rhino with a diving clothesline on James. Rhino with a shoulder charge and belly to belly on James. Cover by Rhino and it gets broken up. James and Rhino exchange punches as the Knockouts brawl on the outside. James attempts a Fameasser, but Rhino catches James with a Gore as he comes off the ropes. Rhino hooks the leg and gets the pinfall.

Winners: Rhino, ODB & Rhaka Khan

After the match, Rhino, ODB and Rhaka Khan celebrate the win.

– Backstage, Lauren is with Consequences Creed. Creed talked about debuting in TNA at last year’s Bound For Glory. He said the way Sheik Abdul Bashir talks about America disgusts him and tells him that if he doesn’t love it then leave it.

Before the match, an Iraq War veteran named Sgt. Daniel Casara and Chicago native is introduced. Casara has had multiple surgeries since is time in the war. Casara introduces Consequences Creed to the ring. Creed got a big pop for his entrance. Bashir takes the mic and insults both Creed and Casara.

The bell rings and Creed hits the ring taking out Bashir. Bashir is tossed over to the outside and Creed jumps over the top rope with a flip dive. Creed tosses Bashir back in the ring and levels him with a huge cross-body that results in a two count. Bashir fights back sending Creed face first into the corner and following that up with a few chest chops. Creed with a snapmare followed up with a low clothesline. Cover by Creed and Bashir kicks out after two. Chest chops by Creed in the corner. Bashir with a knee to the head on Creed on the ring apron and Creed is sent to the ring barricade as a result. Bashir drops Creed’s face off the ring barricade, throws Creed back in the ring, covers and Creed kicks out after two. Bashir hooks the legs of Creed after an irish whip into the ropes and takes the action to the ground. Loud “USA” chant from the crowd in Chicago. Creed fights to his feet, but Bashir takes him out with a knee to the gut. Bashir with a powerful irish whip on Creed to the corner.

Both begin trading chops in the middle of the ring. Creed misses another cross-body attempt. Bashir quickly covers Creed and gets a two count. Bashir keeps Creed grounded applying a body scissors putting on the pressure. Bashir switches to a headlock and Creed fights his way to his feet. Creed with a rollup off the ropes on Bashir that results in a close two count. Bashir with a sleeper on Creed as Creed came off the ropes. Creed slowly falls to the mat. The referee checks Creed once and the arm falls. Second time and the arm falls again. Third time and Creed keeps the arm up. Creed with shots to the stomach, flip over Bashir and big kick to Bashir. Both men are down as the referee starts the count. The referee gets to 8 and both are up. Creed sends Bashir face first into the corner and hits a few forearms. Creed with some big clotheslines on Bashir and a huge back body drop. Cover by Creed and Bashir gets a shoulder up. Creed with a kick to Bashir’s face and a huge press slam into his knees!

Creed hooks the leg and Bashir barely gets a shoulder up after two. Creed with a forearm and a huge kick to the head on Bashir. Creed flips back up to his feet and goes up to the top turnbuckle. Bashir gets to his feet, crotches Creed on the top, jumps up and hits a big huracanrana. Bashir covers Creed and Creed kicks out after two. Creed has Bashir up on his shoulders, Bashir rakes the eyes, rolls up Creed holding the ropes and gets the pinfall.

– Backstage, Mick Foley is talking about his famous Hell in a Cell match with Jeremy Borash when Awesome Kong walks in with Raisha Saeed. Saeed asks where Jim Cornette is. Foley said he is gone taking care of other business and that he is here to run things for now. She said it doesn’t matter why he is here and Foley calls that gimmick infringment saying he has The Rock on speed dial. Saeed said Kong is not in a very good mood tonight and demands Foley tell Cornette that. They leave and Foley said Saeed doesn’t seem like a very happy person and gives his old friend Yurple The Clown a call.

– A video package rolls highlighting tonight’s TNA Knockouts Title match with Taylor Wilde defending her title against Awesome Kong and Roxxi.

Taylor Wilde (c) vs. Awesome Kong w/ Raisha Saeed vs. Roxxi

The bell rings and Taylor and Roxxi go after Awesome Kong. Wilde and Roxxi take down Kong and follow that up with a double dropkick sending Kong to the outside. Lock up and Roxxi knees Wilde. Wilde with knees to the back and two quick arm drags on Roxxi. Wilde with a big huracanrana on Roxxi followed by a big spinning heel kick. Kong is in the ring and tosses Wilde across the ring. On the outside, Saeed kicks Roxxi. Wilde with a rollup on Kong and Roxxi hits the ring to break it up. Wilde is dumped to the outside and then Kong chops Roxxi across the chest. Kong misses a splash and Roxxi starts chopping Kong. Roxxi with a neckbreaker on Kong followed by a big body splash. Roxxi goes up top, jumps and takes out Kong with a knee driver into the chest. Roxxi covers Kong and Wilde breaks it up. Roxxi has Wilde across her back, but Kong levels Roxxi with a huge boot to the face! Roxxi with a jawbreaker on Kong, but Kong explodes off the ropes taking out Roxxi with a rare cross-body.

Kong has Roxxi up and connects with the Implant Buster. Kong covers Roxxi and Wilde breaks up the pinfall. Kong levels Wilde with a clothesline afterwards. Kong is doing something else rare by going up to the top rope. Wilde jumps up with her and kicks Kong off to the outside. Roxxi with a huge kick to Wilde, cover and a two count. Roxxi sets Wilde up for her drop finisher when Wilde rakes the eyes and gets in a back drop into a bridge on Roxxi to get the pinfall.

Winner & STILL TNA Knockouts Champion: Taylor Wilde

After the match, Taylor Wilde grabs the TNA Knockouts Title and heads up the ramp to the back holding up her title.

– Backstage, Jeremy Borash is again with Mick Foley. AJ Styles is there and said he is excited about Foley being here. Foley said he is on AJ’s side when it comes to the whole situation with Sting. Team 3D walk up and say AJ isn’t that big of a deal. AJ gets mad and Foley tells AJ to leave and get ready for his big match tonight. Foley then asks Brother Ray why he raided his closet forcing him to change his fashion sense. Brother Ray said he wears flannel better than him and begins bragging about Team 3D’s success in wrestling. Foley said he has heard it before and doesn’t care. He adds that he has to get ready for Kurt Angle vs. Jeff Jarrett tonight. When they leave they both say see you later Cactus. Jim Cornette returns and Foley said nothing huge happened while he was gone. Cornette said he knew he could count on him.

Beer Money, Inc. (c’s) vs. LAX vs. Team 3D vs. Abyss & Matt Morgan
Special Guest Referee: Steve “Mongo” McMichael

The bell rings and three of the teams all go after Beer Money. This all breaks up into separate brawls. LAX take out James Storm in the ring. Hernandez with a catapult into a Homicide clothesline followed by a big body splash. Robert Roode hits the ring and takes out Homicide. Roode then begins chopping Hernandez. Roode with a kick to the face on Hernandez and Hernandez comes back with a body charge. Homicide with a dive through the ropes on Beer Money. Hernandez follows that up with a dive over the top rope taking out Beer Money as well! Brother Ray then takes out Hernandez with what appeared to be a street sign. in the ring, Homicide cracks a crutch over the back of Brother Devon. Homicide grabs a fork and drives it into the forehead of Devon. Abyss then tosses Roode into the steel steps near the ring. Homicide is continuing to jab the fork into the forehead of Devon. Devon is busted open at this point. Abyss hits the ring and he lifts up Homicide dropping him down in the Shock Treatment over his shoulders.

Ray brings in a cheese grader and hits Abyss “right in the nuts” as Don West said. Ray then rubs the cheese grader across the head of Abyss and licks it afterwards. Abyss is busted at this point as Ray does it again and licks it again. Ray then splashes Hernandez in the corner. Hernandez gets a boot up on the second attempt, flips himself up to the top rope, but Ray cracks another street sign over his head. Ray with a huge superplex on Hernandez off the top turnbuckle. Cover and Roode breaks it up. Roode with a flipping neckbreaker off the top rope on Ray that results in a two count. Beer Money then double teams Matt Morgan with some forearms and kicks. They attempt a double suplex, but Morgan counters and gives them a double suplex. Morgan goes for Old School on Roode, but jumps over Roode and cross-body’s Storm that results in a two count. Devon is in, cracks a trash can lid over Storm and Roode. Devon gives Roode an inverted DDT. Abyss chokeslams Devon.

Abyss goes to chokeslam Roode when Storm comes in with a bag full of tacks. Roode hits Abyss over the back with a steel chair. Storm then puts on his beer football helmet and challenges Mongo. Both get down in a linebacker stance, charge and Mongo takes out Roode with a running clothesline. Homicide covers Roode and Roode barely kicks out. Loud “WE WANT TABLES” chant starts up. Morgan headbutts Homicide to the outside. LAX and Beer Money are brawling on the outside when Morgan takes them out with a huge dive off the top rope! Team 3D is going after a bloody Abyss in the entrance area hitting him with a trash can lid and then a trash can. Ray grabs a stapler and staples the face of Abyss. Team 3D grab Abyss to the top of the entrance ramp, but miss a punch as Devon hits Ray. Johnny Devine runs out and cracks a kendo stick over the back of Abyss a few times. Devine leaves and then returns with a table. Devon and Devine set up a table below the top of the entrance area.

Devon tosses lighter fluid to Ray and has one of his own. They pour lighter fluid all over the table, light the kendo stick on fire, light the table on fire and Team 3D chokeslam Abyss onto the flaming table. This was VERY dangerous as Abyss’ attire caught fire and was not going out for a few seconds. Eventually TNA staff hit the area and put him out with a fire extinguisher. Beer Money take out Morgan at ringside and then Hernandez takes out Storm with a shot using a kendo stick. Beer Money gets tossed in the ring and Homicide takes them out coming off the top rope. Roode fires back putting Homicide up on the top rope. Homicide counters dropping Roode down face first. Hernandez catches Storm attempting a cross-body and changes that into a huge sitdown powerbomb. Cover and Storm gets a shoulder up. Hernandez gets Roode up to his shoulders, drops him down and Homicide follows with a splash. Another cover and another slow count from Steve McMichael as LAX complains.

Don West points out McMichael has been doing that for everyone tonight. Homicide with a Gringo Cutter on Storm, Hernandez covers and Jacqueline jumps in to break it up going after Steve McMichael. McMichael slaps Jacqueline on the butt. Morgan levels Hernandez with a big boot, grabs Homicide, Homicide counters, but Morgan grabs hold and slams Homicide down on his face. Morgan picks up Hernandez and gives him a big fallaway slam. Morgan puts Homicide up on the top rope as Brother Ray slides a table into the ring. Hernandez goes under Morgan and gives him a HUGE Border Toss! Morgan slides to the outside. Ray then gives Homicide a scoop slam and they dump Hernandez out. Ray sets Devon up for the what’s up headbutt drop and Devon connects. The fans chant “GET THE TABLES” as Hernandez breaks it up with a double clothesline over the top rope on 3D. Hernandez then sets the table up himself near a corner. Hernandez then grabs the back of tacks and pours them over the table with help from Steve McMichael. Hernandez grabs Devon, but Ray interferes to break it up. They hits a 3D over the table full of tacks on Hernandez. 3D fall back as Beer Money hits the ring and Roode covers Hernandez. McMichael counts the pinfall and it’s over. Wow, what a match!

Winners & STILL TNA World Tag Team Champions: Beer Money, Inc.

After the match, Team 3D sit up and can’t believe what happened. We see a shot of Hernandez trying to recover from going through a table covered in tacks. We then see highlights of the match leading to the finish.

– A video package runs highlighting Booker T vs. AJ Styles vs. Christian Cage tonight.

Booker T vs. AJ Styles vs. Christian Cage

The bell rings and AJ Styles goes after Booker T right away. Christian Cage leaves the ring and AJ looks at him yelling, “Are you getting in or what?” Booker then takes advantage leveling AJ with a quick side kick. Cage teases he is on Booker’s side, but pulls him back and takes out Booker with an inverted DDT. AJ and Cage start going back and forth and get in some pinfall attempts that each result in a two count. AJ tries to springboard himself off the ropes, but Cage pushes him off the ropes and AJ lands on his chest. Cage follows that up with a big lifting knee to the chest on AJ. Booker with a big superkick on Cage that sends Cage to the outside. Very impressive spot that saw AJ tease doing a springboard splash into Booker in the ring, but he stops himself and hits a huge moonsault on Cage on the outside! The referee goes to the outside to break up a brawl near the announcers table. This allows Sharmell to crack a briefcase over AJ’s head. In the ring, Booker elevates Cage up and down as Cage jumped off the corner.

Cover by Booker and Cage gets a shoulder up after two. Booker with some knees to the chest on Cage and then takes the offense to the ground applying a headlock on Cage. Cage fights back with some chops, but Booker levels Cage with a huge spinning heel kick. Cover by Booker and Cage again kicks out after two. Booker mounts Cage and gets in some stiff rights. AJ is up on the ring apron trying to recover from the briefcase shot as Booker levels Cage with another clothesline. Booker with a stiff right to Cage in the corner followed by a big chest chop. Cage with a few chest chops of his own. Booker attempts a Book End, but Cage counters out and then we see a double clothesline between the two in the middle of the ring. Both are up and AJ hits a springboard flying forearm on Booker. AJ with clotheslines on each. AJ with a flying clothesline splash on Cage in the corner. Booker with a knee to AJ, AJ jumps over Booker, AJ flips over Cage, Cage takes out Booker and then AJ nails Cage with a HUGE dropkick. Very impressive spot.

AJ counters an Unprettier, hits a springboard inverted DDT, can’t bring it down, Cage pushes him away, AJ takes out Booker on the ring apron and then connects on a second springboard inverted DDT attempt. Booker with a double clothesline on AJ and Cage. Booker superkicks Cage to the outside and then drives some knees into the chest of AJ. Booker chops AJ a few times. Booker misses an Axe Kick and AJ locks on an armbar on Booker! Cage breaks it up, but AJ kicks Cage in the face and brings him down in a huracanrana. Booker with a Book End on AJ. Booker covers AJ and AJ kicks out after two. Booker does a spinarooni as the crowd cheers. Cage levels Booker with a huge flying forearm off the top. Cage mocks Booker and goes to do a spinarooni, but AJ leaps off his knee, takes out Booker, goes back after Cage, Cage pushes him away, AJ with a Pele Kick on Booker and Cage with a huge DDT on AJ! Cover by Cage and AJ barely kick outs after two. Cage positions AJ up on the top turnbuckle and goes up with. Booker approaches.

Booker is under Cage and AJ punches Booker away. AJ plants Cage face down on the mat off the top. AJ attempts the Spiral Tap, but misses when Cage rolls away. Booker with a double Axe Kick on both Cage and AJ! Booker covers AJ and AJ just barely gets a shoulder up. Booker covers Cage and gets the same result. Booker goes up top, but Cage pushes AJ into the corner crotching Booker. Cage with a big tackle on AJ. Cage covers, Booker holds the referee back, referee gets free, counts and AJ kicks out after two. Cage catapults AJ up to Booker in the corner, Cage is up with AJ, Cage chops AJ into Booker, Cage grabs AJ and hits the Unprettier from the top! Booker with an Axe Kick off the top on Cage! Booker hooks Cage’s leg and gets the pinfall. Another solid match.

Winner: Booker T

After the match, Booker T leaves the ring and celebrates his win heading up the entrance area along with Sharmell.

– A video package runs highlighting Kurt Angle vs. Jeff Jarrett tonight with Mick Foley as the special guest enforcer.

– Backstage, Lauren is with Kurt Angle. Angle said tonight isn’t one-on-one with Jeff Jarrett with Mick Foley involved. He said Foley is there to protect Jarrett. Angle said he doesn’t give a damn if Jarrett owns the company or if his little daughters are watching the match tonight. He said he will make an example out of Jeff tonight and tells Jeff’s little girls that daddy will stop bleeding…eventually.

– We then go to Jeremy Borash who is with Jeff Jarrett. Borash asks if something would happen tonight and what that would mean to TNA. Jarrett, with tears in his eyes, said his little girls is what kept him going and tonight he will do it for them.

Special Guest Enforcer: Mick Foley
Kurt Angle vs. Jeff Jarrett

Before the match started, Kurt Angle flipped off Mick Foley. Foley is at the ringside area as referee Rudy Charles is handling business inside the ring. The bell rings and here we go. A loud “THANK YOU JEFF” chant starts up.

Jarrett steps forward, Angle backs off, Angle with a takedown and Jarrett gets to the ropes to break it up. Angle with another takedown and slaps the head of Jarrett. Lock up and Angle with a hip toss into a headlock. Jarrett breaks free, but Angle levels him with a shoulder block and back to the headlock. Jarrett with a big hip toss and takedown into a headlock of his own. Angle shoots Jarrett into the ropes, but Jarrett hits a shoulder block and goes back to the headlock on Angle. Angle gets to his feet and drops Jarrett down in a back suplex. Jarrett doesn’t let the headlock go after taking this and continues to wrench back. Angle backs Jarrett to the corner and the referee breaks it up. Angle with a few shots to Jarrett in the corner including a big uppercut. Jarrett with a big dropkick to Angle followed by a clothesline that sends Angle over the top rope. Jarrett with a springboard cross-body over the top to the outtside on Angle. Jarrett then grabs Angle and sends him chest first into the ring barricade.

Jarrett goes up to the ring apron and jumps at Angle, but Angle moves and Jarrett crashes into the ring barricade. Angle tosses Jarrett back in and kicks him right in the gut a few times. Angle with another big uppercut on Jarrett and then chokes Jarrett across the ropes. Jarrett with an atomic drop on Angle followed by a big kick to the head. Jarrett props Angle up on the ropes and drops a leg off the back. Jarrett struts afterwards, attempts this a second time and Angle levels Jarrett with a huge clothesline. Angle with a scoop slam into a backbreaker, cover and Jarrett kicks out. Angle then goes back to the headlock keeping the offense on the ground. Jarrett gets to his feet, hits Angle with some elbows, big uppercut, float over and rollup on Angle that gets a two count. Quick clothesline by Angle, cover and Jarrett gets a shoulder up. Angle with a snap suplex on Jarrett, two covers and two shoulders up by Jarrett each time. Angle returns to the headlock on Jarrett.

Jarrett fights to his feet, elbows to Angle, right hands, kicks, cheap shot by Angle, shoulder charges by Angle on Jarrett, Angle charges, but Jarrett moves and Angle hits the steel ring post. Kick by Jarrett and a big DDT in the middle of the ring. Both men stay down and the referee starts the count. Both men get to their feet quickly and exchange right hands. Jarrett gets the better of them, Angle with a knee, Jarrett with two clotheslines and Jarrett with a turning plant powerbomb that results in a two count. Jarrett with a boot to Angle, but Angle fires back with a belly to belly release suplex that also results in a two count. Angle lifts Jarrett up and Jarrett counters into a DDT. Jarrett positions Angle up on the top turnbuckle. Angle with some shots to Jarrett’s ribs. Jarrett hooks the arm and gives Angle a big superplex. Jarrett with a cover and Angle barely gets a shoulder up after two. Jarrett trips up Angle and applies the Figure Four! Angle screams out in pain.

Angle falls to his shoulders and avoids a pinfall from taking place a few times. Angle makes his way to the bottom rope and gets it yelling at the referee to get Jarrett off of him. Jarrett with some kicks to Angle. Angle then fires back with a german suplex on Jarrett. Angle hits a second and third german suplex, covers and Jarrett again kicks out after two. Angle drops the straps and Jarrett counters an Angle Slam. Jarrett kicks Angle in the gut, attempts a piledriver, Angle counters, rolls through and applies an Ankle Lock on Jarrett. Jarrett crawls to the ropes, gets close, Angle pulls him back to the middle of the ring, Jarrett crawls again and Angle again pulls him back to the middle. Jarrett rolls through to break the submission. Angle with an Angle Slam on Jarrett, hooks the leg and Jarrett barely gets a shoulder up after two. Don West says, “That was so freaking close!” Lots of “freakings” tossed around tonight by both Tenay and West. Angle is now going up top.

Angle is up on the top turnbuckle, hits a huge moonsault, but Jarrett rolls out of the way. Jarrett starts hulking up as the crowd chants “TNA!” Angle takes out the referee with a clothesline as Jarrett dodged a charge. Jarrett with knees to the gut and a Stroke on Angle. Cover by Jarrett, Mick Foley rolls in…1…2…Angle kicks out! Angle with a low blow on Jarrett as Foley checks on the referee. Angle leaves the ring and grabs a steel chair. Mick Foley gets in Angle’s face saying he can’t use it and to return to the ring. Angle then cracks the steel chair over the head of Foley! Angle returns to the ring and cracks the chair over Jarrett’s head. Angle throws the chair away, wakes up the referee, hooks the leg…1…2…Foley pulls the referee out. A dazed Foley gets inside the ring and gets in Angle’s face. Foley takes out Jarrett with a big right when Angle went for a right of his own. Foley has the sock out. Socko time and Foley applies the mandible claw. Jarrett grabs his guitar and cracks it over the head of Angle. Jarrett covers, Foley counts and Jarrett gets the pinfall.

Winner: Jeff Jarrett

After the match, Jeff Jarrett backs to the corner and celebrates his win as Mick Foley rasies his hand in the air. Mike Tenay does a shout out to Nashville and says the names of Jarrett’s three daughters saying this one was for them tonight.

TNA World Heavyweight Championship Match
Samoa Joe (c) vs. Sting

A video package was shown for Sting noting that he has never lost at Bound For Glory. Tenay and West point out a mixed reaction for Sting tonight, but I’m sure not hearing it. A video package also aired for Samoa Joe highlighting his reign as TNA World Champion. More of a mixed reaction for Joe and I’m sure they were expecting this. Jeremy Borash did the ring introductions for the challenger Sting (big reaction) and the champion Samoa Joe (mixed reaction).

The bell rings and here we go. Sting and Joe exchange some lefts and rights. Joe tosses Sting over the top rope and Joe hits a suicide dive through the ropes taking out Sting. Joe with a chest chop, headbutt and right hands to Sting on the outside. Sting goes over the railing into the crowd. Joe follows him in and they start to brawl into the crowd. Sting gets in a few shots and tosses Joe into the upper area of the crowd. They start walking up into the steps and brawling around the crowd. They continue on going to the top of the stairs. Joe goes up into a VIP box area, gets a running start, charges, jumps and hits a missile dropkick on Sting landing right on the steps and guardrailing! Wow, that was a risky spot. They start brawling back down the steps through the crowd. Sting drags Joe’s face across the railing in the crowd and then follows it up with a big right hand. Sting stands up and hits a cross-body on Joe! A loud “TNA” chant starts up. Sting stands up again on the hockey box and this time Joe crotches him and follows it up with a huge kick to the head.

Joe drags Sting by the head and takes him farther into the crowd. They make their way around the crowd area and Joe dumps Sting over the ring barricade back to the ringside area. Joe tosses Sting back in the ring and the crowd starts a “JOE’S GONNA KILL YOU” chant. Joe with some rights and then a body charge in the corner. Joe backs up and connects with a big kick to Sting’s head. Joe positions Sting up on the top turnbuckle and hits a big chest chop. Joe attempts the Muscle Buster when Sting breaks it up and connects with a big leaping DDT. Sting goes up top and connects with a body splash. Cover and Joe kicks out after two. Joe with a reverse kick and a big powerbomb on Sting. Joe rolls Sting over into an STF. Joe then switches this up and applies a Crossface on Sting wrenching back. Joe breaks the Crossface and works on Sting’s right arm pulling it back. Sting gets his boot on the bottom rope to break it up. Joe backs up, Sting gets in a big right, but Joe counters into a big snap slam that results in a two count. Joe slaps his hands together and signals for the end.

Sting is up and Joe misses a charge. Stinger Splash on Joe, Sting puts Joe up on the turnbuckle, attempts a Muscle Buster on Joe, hits it, but Joe stands back up like it was nothing. Joe chops Sting a few times, clothesline in the corner, slaps to the face and Joe hits a Scorpion Deathdrop on Sting. Sting then pops right back up to his feet as well. Joe can’t believe it. Sting with right hands and another Stinger Splash to the back of Joe. Another Stinger Splash to the chest on Joe. Sting attempts another Stinger Splash in the opposite corner, but Joe catches Sting and plants him down on his back over the mat with force. Joe smiles as he backs up. Joe picks up Sting, hits a few knees to the chest, Sting falls back and Joe tells the referee to count. Sting gets to his feet at 8. Joe with kicks to the legs of Sting. Sting is down again and the referee starts the count. Sting is up at 4 and Joe kicks Sting right in the head. The referee begins the count. The referee gets to 8, Sting is still down and Joe hits some rights so it doesn’t end that way. Kevin Nash is then seen walking down the ramp.

Nash walks around the ring and gets near Sting. Joe is in the referee’s face. Joe with some rights to a dazed Sting. Joe with chops and a big DDT to Sting. Joe gets back in the referee’s face. Sting goes for his bat. Nash pulls the bat away. Joe with a huge clothesline on Sting. Nash has the bat in hand, Joe covers Sting and Sting kicks out after two. Joe with rights to Sting, Joe almost takes out the referee and Nash cracks Joe with the bat! Sting with a Scorpion Deathdrop on Joe. Sting covers Joe…1…2…3.

Winner & NEW TNA World Champion: Sting

After the match, Kevin Nash leaves the ringside area and heads up the entrance ramp with the bat in hand. Nash turns around and stares down Sting who is handed the TNA World Title. We then see highlights of the match leading to the finish. Back live, Sting is up on the top turnbuckle holding up the TNA World Title. Mike Tenay points out how history has repeated itself at Bound For Glory in the last two years with Sting coming out on top.
