Biography
- On WCW television, Sanders became the vocal leader of the Natural Born Thrillers.
- On October 2, 2000, Sanders defeated Elix Skipper in San Francisco, CA to capture the WCW Cruiserwight title.
- Sanders’s WCW contract was acquired by WWF as part of the purchase of WCW.
- Sanders became apart of the WWF’s developmental roster, and assigned to Les Thatcher’s Heartland Wrestling Association in Cincinnati, OH for development.
- While in HWA, Sanders tagged regularly with Lance Cade.
- On February 13, 2002, Sanders and Cade defeated Val Venis and Steve Bradley for the HWA Tag Team title in Dayton, OH.
- Sanders and Cade vacated the HWA Tag Team title when the team split up.
- With no plans to call him up the main roster, WWE released Sanders.
- In late 2002, Sanders competed on the World Wrestling All-Stars (WWA) European tour.
- When his developmental contract expired, Sanders joined NWA TNA and became apart of Vince Russo’s Sport Entertainment Xtreme group.
- On the January 29, 2003 NWA TNA PPV, Sanders defeated Ron “The Truth” Killings.
