– On August 20, 2003, Shane defeated Chris Sabin and Frankie Kazarian in an “ultimate X” match to capture the X Division title in Nashville, TN.
– Shane successfully defended the X division title on October 1, 2003 against former champion Jerry Lynn.
– On November 30, 2003, Shane and Latin Lover won a tag team tournament in Naucalpan, Mexico.
– On the July 28, 2004 TNA PPV in Nashville, TN, Shane and Frankie Karazian defeated AJ Styles in an “ultimate X” match to claim the X Division title.
– At the 2005 Hard Justice PPV, Shane and Trinity defeated Chris Sabin and Tracy Brooks in a “Mixed Tag Team Match.”
– In July 2005, Shane changed his ring name to Matt Bentley.
– At Turning Point ’05, Bentley and Austin Aries defeated Alex Shelley and Roderick Strong.
– In early 2006, Bentley became “Maverick” Matt.
– Shane was renamed Martyr in March 2007, while apart of Raven’s Serotonin group.
