– In his early career, Walker wrestled as ‘Mike Venom’
– On November 26, 2005, Venom defeated Robert Anthony to win the AAW Heavyweight Title
– On December 17, 2005, Venom defeated Danny Dominion to retain the AAW Heavyweight Title
– On January 14, 2005, Venom defeated Botch to retain the AAW Heavyweight Title
– On February 4, 2006, Venom defeated Robert Anthony to retain the AAW Heavyweight Title
– In April 2006, Walker worked a tour for Pro Wrestling Noah, competing under his real name. He returned for a second tour in September
– In November 2006, Walker signed a WWE development deal and was assigned to Deep South Wrestling
– In May 2007, Walker was relocated to Florida Championship Wrestling, but would be released less than 6 months later
– On October 27, 2007, Walker defeated Dangerous Derek to win the WLW Heavyweight Title
– On November 16, 2007, Walker defeated Wade Chism to retain the WLW Heavyweight Title

– On October 4, 2008, Walker & Rasche Brown (The Skull Krushers) defeated Los Luchas (Phoenix Star & Zokre) to win the NWA World Tag Team Titles
– On December 20, 2008, The Skull Krushers defeated The Cutler Brothers (Brandon & Dustin) to retain the NWA World Tag Team Titles. They defeated Chris Kadillak & Roger Ruiz later that same day to retain the titles once more
– On January 9, 2009, The Skull Krushers defeated The Phoenix Twins (Dash & Tweek) to retain the NWA World Tag Team Titles
– On February 21, 2009, Walker defeated Ricky Landel in 37.5 seconds to capture the AWA World Heavyweight title in Michigan City, IN. He would defeat Colin Troy later that day to retain the title
– On November 6, 2009, Walker defeated Harker Dirge to win the PWE Title
– On November 21, 2009, The Skull Krushers defeated The McCoys (Chase & Mickey) to retain the NWA World Tag Team Titles
– On April 14, 2010, Walker and Bison Smith defeated Takeshi Rikio & Mohammed Yone in Osaka, Japan to win the GHC Tag Team Titles.
– On June 6, 2010, Walker & Smith defeated Takashi Sugiura & Shuhei Taniguchi to retain the GHC Tag Team Titles
