Biography

– Hector is part of the large Guerrero wrestling family and often competed alongside his brothers and nephews throughout his career
– On January 13, 1978, Hector & Chavo Guerrero defeated Black Gordman & Goliath to win the NWA Americas Tag Team Titles
– On February 10, 1978, Guerrero defeated The Canadian to win the NWA Americas Heavyweight Title
– On May 26, 1978, Guerrero & Black Gordman defeated Ron Bass & Roddy Piper to win the NWA Americas Tag Team Titles
– On June 30, 1978, Guerrero defeated Moondog Lonnie Mayne to regain the NWA Americas Heavyweight Title
– On January 5, 1979, Guerrero made his Japanese debut, defeating Kantaro Hoshino
– On May 11, 1979, Guerrero won his third NWA Americas Tag Team Title reign, teaming with Barry Orton to defeat The Twin Devils
– On June 29, 1979, Hector & Mando Guerrero defeated The Twin Devils to win the NWA Americas Tag Team Titles. They would lose and regain them the next month
– On November 19, 1979, Guerrero & Steve Regal defeated The Blond Bombers (Wayne Farris & Larry Latham) to win the AWA Southern Tag Team Titles
– In early 1980, Guerrero & Ron Sexton defeated Ron McFarlane & Doug Somers to win the NWA Tri-State United States Tag Team Titles

– On December 7, 1983, Guerrero defeated Dennis Brown in the final of a tournament to win the vacant NWA Florida Junior Heavyweight Title
– On May 15, 1984, Guerrero fought Dennis Brown to a draw to retain the NWA Florida Junior Heavyweight Title
– On July 14, 1984, Hector & Chavo Guerrero defeated Mike Rotunda & Barry Windham to win the NWA Florida United States Tag Team Titles
– On April 28, 1985, Guerrero defeated Jesse Barr to win the NWA Florida Heavyweight Title
– In early 1987, Guerrero debuted a futuristic masked gimmick under the name ‘Lazer-Tron’
– On March 7, 1987, Lazer-Tron defeated Denny Brown to win the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Title
– In September 1987, Guerrero left WCW and abandoned the Lazer-Tron gimmick
– On October 19, 1987, Guerrero & Dr D defeated Bill Dundee & Jerry Lawler to win the AWA World Tag Team Titles, but would lose them back just a week later

– At Survivor Series 1990, Guerrero appeared as The Gobbledy Gooker
– In the early 1990’s, Guerrero revived the Lazer Tron character in Mexico
– In 1997, Guerrero retired from the ring following a short stint back with WCW
– At WrestleMania X-7, Guerrero competed in the Gimmick Battle Royal as The Gobbledy Gooker
– On March 1, 2007, Guerrero was hired by TNA as a road agent and Spanish-language announcer
– One week later, Guerrero was officially welcomed to TNA on-screen
– On May 1, 2008, Guerrero joined the LAX stable alongside Hernandez & Homicide
– At Sacrifice 2008, Guerrero was in the corner of The LAX as they won the TNA World Tag Team Titles
– On September 25, 2008, Beer Money Inc (James Storm, Robert Roode & Jacqueline Moore) defeated The LAX (Homicide, Hernandez & Hector Guerrero) forcing Guerrero off television. He returned to the announce desk the following week
– Guerrero continues to make occasional on-screen appearances with TNA
