Biography

- In the 1990′s, West gained fame as a pitchman for the Home Shopping Network
- In 2000, West was approached by Vince Russo, who offered him a WCW job. West turned down the job, as he felt that the future of WCW was not secure
- In 2001, West left HSN to become a radio presenter in Nashville, Tennessee
- On June 19, 2002, West debuted as TNA’s color commentator alongside Ed Ferrara and Mike Tenay in a 3-man booth
- In August 2002, Ferrara left TNA, leaving West and Tenay at the announce table
- On December 14, 2006, West saw his first in-ring action, being attacked by Kurt Angle
- On February 26, 2009, West turned heel and walked out on Tenay. He repeated this act over the next 2-3 weeks
- On August 17, 2009, West was replaced at the TNA announce table by Tazz. West became a sales and merchandising executive for the company
- On October 15, 2009, West returned to television, serving as the manager of The Amazing Red
- On May 28, 2012, West left TNA and the wrestling business
