Biography

– Finkel began working for the WWWF in 1975, however he debuted as a ring announcer on January 17, 1977 at Madison Square Garden.
– April 1, 1980, Finkel became the very first WWF (WWE) employee & also the longest serving signing.
– Finkel was also known as The Fink, Finkus Maximus & El Dopo.
– Finkel was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2009.
– Finkel was inducted into the Wrestling Observer Newsletter Hall of Fame in 2018.
– April 16, 2020, Finkel unfortunately passed away, a lot of speculation has been brought towards the stroke he suffered a year prior on February of 2019.
– In March 31, 2021, Finkel was inducted into the GERWECK.NET Hall of Fame with a 96% approval vote.
