– At age 18, Albright enrolled at the Oklahoma Professional Wrestling School in Tulsa, OK.
– Albright relocated to California, and trained under Mike Modest at the All Pro Wrestling Boot Camp.
– On the independent circuit, Albright used the ring name Slater Vain.
– In 2003, Albright toured the Orient with Pro Wrestling Noah as Vinnie Valentino.
– Albright signed a WWE developmental contract in November 2003, and was assigned to Ohio Valley Wrestling.
– On March 30, 2004 in Louisville, KY, Albright and Chris Masters defeated Chris Cage and Tank Toland to capture the OVW Tag Team title.
– Albright captured the OVW Television title on January 26, 2005 in Louisville, KY.
– On April 30, 2005, Albright beat Matt Morgan for the OVW Heavyweight title.
– Albright defeated CM Punk in the finals of a tournament to crown a new OVW champion on March 1, 2006.
– Albright debuted on the April 7, 2006 edition of Smackdown as Gunner Scott, and upset Booker T.
– Months later, Albright was reassigned to OVW.
– WWE released Albright on October 12, 2006.
– On August 2, 2008 in New York City, Albright defeated Adam Pearce to capture the NWA World Heavyweight title.
