Biography

– Nemeth was an accomplished amateur wrestler and previously held the record for most career wins at Kent State University and St Edward High School
– Nemeth signed a WWE development deal in 2004 and was assigned to OVW
– On November 3, 2004, Nemeth wrestled his first professional match, teaming with Steve Lewington in a loss to MNM (Joey Matthews & Johnny Nitro)
– On September 19, 2005, Nemeth made his main roster debut, appearing as the ‘caddy’ of Kerwin White
– On October 17, 2005, Nemeth wrestled his first match on the main roster, teaming with White to defeat Matt Striker & Shelton Benjamin
– Following the death of Eddie Guerrero, Chavo Guerrero dropped the Kerwin White character and Nemeth was sent back to developmental
– In late 2005, Nemeth joined The Spirit Squad, an all-male cheerleading squad gimmick, alongside Johnny Jeter, Ken Doane, Mike Mondo & Nick Mitchell. He would go by the name ‘Nicky’ whilst in the group

However, real General Manager Teddy Long interrupted the segment and made a match between Ziggler and Edge for the title, which Edge duly won. Ziggler’s reign lasted 11 minutes and 23 seconds.
