Biography

– Nemeth was an accomplished amateur wrestler and previously held the record for most career wins at Kent State University and St Edward High School
– Nemeth signed a WWE development deal in 2004 and was assigned to OVW
– On November 3, 2004, Nemeth wrestled his first professional match, teaming with Steve Lewington in a loss to MNM (Joey Matthews & Johnny Nitro)
– On September 19, 2005, Nemeth made his main roster debut, appearing as the ‘caddy’ of Kerwin White
– On October 17, 2005, Nemeth wrestled his first match on the main roster, teaming with White to defeat Matt Striker & Shelton Benjamin
– Following the death of Eddie Guerrero, Chavo Guerrero dropped the Kerwin White character and Nemeth was sent back to developmental
– In late 2005, Nemeth joined The Spirit Squad, an all-male cheerleading squad gimmick, alongside Johnny Jeter, Ken Doane, Mike Mondo & Nick Mitchell. He would go by the name ‘Nicky’ whilst in the group
– On January 23, 2006, The Spirit Squad debuted on Raw, assisting Jonathan Coachman in a match against Jerry Lawler
– On March 13, 2006, The Spirit Squad (in their first official match) defeated Shawn Michaels in a Handicap Match
– On April 3, 2006, The Spirit Squad (Kenny & Mikey) defeated The Big Show & Kane to win the World Tag Team Titles. The group would defend the titles under the Freebird Rule
– On April 10, 2006, The Spirit Squad (Johnny & Nicky) defeated The Big Show & Kane by DQ to retain the World Tag Team Titles
– On May 15, 2006, The Spirit Squad (Johnny & Nicky) defeated Snitsky & Goldust to retain the World Tag Team Titles
– In November 2006, The Spirit Squad gimmick was retired and Nemeth returned to OVW to compete under his real name once more
– In September 2007, Nemeth was reassigned to FCW
– On March 22, 2008, Nemeth & Brad Allen defeated The Puerto Rican Nightmares (Eddie Colon & Eric Perez) to win the FCW Tag Team Titles
– On August 17, 2008, Nemeth & Shawn Spears defeated The Puerto Rican Nightmares to win the FCW Tag Team Titles
– Over the next month, Nemeth & Spears defended the FCW Tag Team Titles against Heath Miller & Joe Hennig and Eric Perez & Primo Colon
– In September 2008, Nemeth re-debuted on Raw as Dolph Ziggler
– On October 10, 2008, Nemeth was suspended for 30 days for violating the WWE Wellness Policy

– On February 23, 2010, Ziggler defeated John Morrison & R-Truth in a Triple Threat Match to qualify for Money In The Bank
– On July 6, 2010, Ziggler defeated Chavo Guerrero & Kane in a Triple Threat Match to qualify for his second Money In The Bank Match in the space of 6 months
– On July 28, 2010, Ziggler defeated Kofi Kingston to win the WWE Intercontinental Title
– At Summerslam ’10, Ziggler fought Kofi Kingston to a no-contest to retain the WWE Intercontinental Title
– At Night Of Champions ’10, Ziggler again retained the Intercontinental Title against Kingston
– At Survivor Series ’10, Ziggler defeated Kaval to retain the WWE Intercontinental Title
– At TLC ’10, Ziggler defeated Jack Swagger & Kofi Kingston in a Triple Threat Ladder Match to retain the WWE Intercontinental Title
– On February 15, 2011, Ziggler was awarded the World Heavyweight Title by Acting Smackdown General Manager Vickie Guerrero. However, real General Manager Teddy Long interrupted the segment and made a match between Ziggler and Edge for the title, which Edge duly won. Ziggler’s reign lasted 11 minutes and 23 seconds. Just to add insult to injury, Long fired Ziggler after the match
– On March 7, 2011, Ziggler began competing on Raw
– At Capitol Punishment, Ziggler defeated Kofi Kingston by KO to win the WWE United States Title
– At Night Of Champions ’11, Ziggler defeated Alex Riley, Jack Swagger & John Morrison in a Fatal 4-Way Match to retain the WWE United States Title
– At Vengeance ’11, Ziggler defeated Zack Ryder to retain the WWE United States Title
– At Survivor Series ’11, Ziggler defeated John Morrison to retain the WWE United States Title and was later part of Team Barrett in their victory over Team Orton
– On January 2, 2012, Ziggler defeated WWE Champion CM Punk by countout
– At WrestleMania 28, Team Johnny (David Otunga, Mark Henry, Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger, The Miz & Drew McIntyre) defeated Team Teddy (Santino Marella, R-Truth, Kofi Kingston, Zack Ryder, The Great Khali & Booker T)
– On July 3, 2012, Ziggler defeated Alex Riley to qualify for Money In The Bank
– At the 2012 Money In The Bank PPV, Ziggler defeated Damien Sandow, Tyson Kidd, Christian, Santino Marella, Tensai, Cody Rhodes & Sin Cara to win the World Heavyweight Title briefcase
– On August 20, 2012, Ziggler defeated Chris Jericho to retain his Money In The Bank contract and force Jericho to leave WWE
– At Survivor Series ’12, Team Ziggler (Dolph Ziggler, Alberto Del Rio, Damien Sandow, David Otunga & Wade Barrett) defeated Team Foley (Randy Orton, The Miz, Daniel Bryan, Kane & Kofi Kingston)
– At TLC ’12, Ziggler defeated John Cena in a Ladder Match to retain his Money In The Bank briefcase
– At Elimination Chamber ’13, Ziggler defeated Kofi Kingston
– On the Raw following WrestleMania 29, Ziggler cashed in his Money In The Bank and defeated Alberto Del Rio to win the World Heavyweight Title
– In May 2013, Ziggler suffered a concussion in an segment with Jack Swagger and Alberto Del Rio and would be on the sidelines for a month
– At Summerslam ’13, Ziggler & Kaitlyn defeated Big E Langston & AJ Lee
– On January 9, 2014, Ziggler suffered another concussion, this time in a match with Ryback
– At Summerslam ’14, Ziggler defeated The Miz to win the WWE Intercontinental Title
– At Night Of Champions ’14, Ziggler lost his Intercontinental Title back to The Miz, only to regain it the next night on Raw
– At Hell In A Cell ’14, Ziggler defeated Cesaro in a Best Of 3 Falls Match to retain the WWE Intercontinental Title
– At Survivor Series ’14, Team Cena (John Cena, Dolph Ziggler, Ryback, The Big Show & Erick Rowan) defeated Team Authority (Seth Rollins, Kane, Rusev, Luke Harper & Mark Henry) to force The Authority out of power. Ziggler was the lone survivor for his team
– On November 25, 2014, Ziggler defeated WWE Intercontinental Champion Luke Harper by countout
– At TLC ’14, Ziggler defeated Luke Harper in a Ladder Match to win the WWE Intercontinental Title for a fourth time
