– Smith began his career under his real name, working for Stampede Wrestling. He wrestled his first recorded match as a 9-year old and turned pro at 14
– Smith was involved in the short-lived MatRats project
– Smith teamed with TJ Wilson to win the 2004 GTC Carnival Tournament, defeating The Havana Pitbulls (Ricky Reyes & Rocky Romero) and Pete Wilson & Dark Fuego in the 3-way final
– On January 16, 2004, Smith defeated Karnage in a British Rules Match to win the Stampede North American Title
– On March 26, Smith & Apocalypse defeated Johnny Devine & Dave Swift to win the vacant Stampede International Tag Team Titles, but the duo would split up a week later, with the titles being vacated once more
